I've visited Oakland Seashore on and off for 25 years. It was truly a step back in time and one that my children eventually loved as much as I did. So sad to see this piece of Maine history disappear but let's see what happens,...More

On our third visit to the cabins in the past five years, we found the "magic" of these cabins. It's not a five star hotel, the cabins are relatively small and primitive. BUT - if you really want to disconnect and enjoy waking up to...More

Cabin 1, Sea Isle, is rustic, but comfortable. The picnic table, fire ring for an evening fire, the Adirondack chairs for a relaxed view of the Atlantic at sunset, the rise of the full moon, sunrise, was extraordinary. What the cottage may lack in amenities,...More

We rented a 1 room cottage for 2 nights in August and a one room motel room for 2 nights in September. The price was an amazing $80 per night for both reservations. Both locations are very close to the water with a clear view....More
