My family of 4 took the family suite from Sandi for a night in August 2016 and I would highly recommend staying here and for longer! Located i block from the main street but quiet and well positioned. Sandi is an extremely generous and interesting host, all as you'd expect in the rooms with a great breakfast.

Ripples Inn at the Harbor is a most accommodating bed and breakfast property. It is quaint and casual and very clean. The feeling when you walk in is that it is a charming and very homey place, with a proprietor who is engaging, helpful and happy to make your stay comfortable. We traveled with our large dog and not only... More

We were guests at Ripples Inn in July 2016, and enjoyed a delightful and delicious visit to Rockland and the surrounding area. Sandi is a terrific host, and her blueberry pancakes were amazing! Our room was large, bright, immaculately clean, and beautifully appointed. Rockland is a walkable town, and easy drive to other towns on the mid-coast area.

We stayed at Ripples during the off season. The room was nice and comfortable, a little over decorated for my taste, but I'm a guy. We asked for breakfast at 7- the innkeeper seemed a bit surprised by such an early breakfast request, but she cooked us a nice breakfast and we were on our way. Ripples would really shine... More

The location is good, edge of downtown, one block to the waterfront. You can walk to shops, galleries and restaurants. Inn is very cozy, there is a common room where you can chill your wine or brew some tea to sip on the lovely wrap around porch (with porch swing). The innkeeper is very friendly and serves up a delicious full... My boyfriend and I stayed in the Poet's room. Really comfortable bed, own bathroom. I can't say enough nice things about the place. Sandy (the owner) is just the sweetest. Everything is pretty informal and she's easy to work with. She's also a great cook! We had a lobster quiche for breakfast and it was fantastic. What I really loved... More

We had issues at the airport, and couldn't arrive until midnight. The owner waited up for us and made us feel SO welcome even at that hour! Since we weren't leaving until the next evening, she allowed us to use Ripples as our home base. We hung out on the porch and chatted with other guests. Comfortable, lovely, and great... More

This is a delightfully small Inn and the host (Sandi) lives on premises! We ate a full breakfast in Sandi's dining room. Such a special lady - Sandi was so accommodating and helpful! Ripples is just 3 houses from the waterfront and a great place to start a leisurely walk on the waterfront or in town (Rockland). So worth the... More

The Ripples Inn ideal location( with the Farnsworth Museum in sight, the harbor/ park, and downtown shops and restaurants a 5-10 minute walk), is only surpassed by the generous hospitality of the innkeeper. Sandi, a semi- retired nurse, shared her rich knowledge of the area and went beyond the call by dressing my scraped arm daily. A magical, warm, friendly... More

I have been to Ripples Inn twice. The Innkeeper, Sandi Dillon runs a very nice down-home place and is sensitive to guest's needs. The breakfast is the stuff of legend! My room was clean and comfortable.I would rather stay at Ripples than other Inns because of the service, comfort, realistic rates and the personable owner. Very home-like feel. If you... More
