Our arrival was excellent at the resort. The staff were very friendly, and organized for our stay. We had a very nice sized accomadation. Living room, kitchen and bedroom. The bed was excellent. Kitchen was well equipped with new appliances. The sofa was new but chair was older but clean. We both loved the hat surface flooring much cleaner than carpet. We will return as we had a great stay

Tradewinds is in an ideal location for exploring the Down East section of the Maine coast. The property itself is really a modified hotel. We had a tiny suite which had a window looking out on Rockland Harbor. We were grateful as some of the rooms face an indoor hallway. We spent most of our time going up to Acadia National Park and looking into the fishing villages and harbors of the coastal area.

Nice location with easy access to local attractions as well as national parks. While we stayed there, we visited Acadia National park and most of the surrounding towns, all are within two hours of driving.

The good folks at Trade Winds helped to make our week in Maine comfortable and safe. The location was perfect for wandering down Maine St. or catching the ferry to Vinalhaven. Having a car allowed us to explore more of Maine and the parking was free when we got back to home base. Would happily recommend Trade Winds Inn!

We had a great 5 night stay here at trade winds. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews but they were unfounded. We had a one br with a view that the resort upgraded us into. Room was clean and spacious. Kitchen was great and recently upgraded. Plenty to do in the area. We partook in hiking and a couple museums. I do recommend and will return.
