First of all, I am very surprised that there are not more reviews of this fantastic compound. In Maine, they call these 'camps' but they aren't a camp in the sense of a kid's summer camp. Our cabin is so well maintained that it looks brand new. I am writing this in 2016 and I can see from the photos... More

These camps are very nice. We were there for Snodeo weekend. When we arrived the lights were on and the heat was turned up. Very clean camps. My daughter forgot her pillow and Perry even mailed it back to us! Would definately stay there again. The only tip I would suggest is that if you are cooking your own meals... More

First a thank you to the owners for supporting a local non-profit fund raiser by donating a 2 night stay at their facility. My partner and I won it. We decided to use it in the fall. A quiet time and usually pretty. We were ahead of the color but didn't mind. Cabins are in pristine shape! Clean, well appointed... More

The perfect place to unplug & recharge. Perry & Melinda Williams, Owners, & their staff ensure that every little detail is attended to in order for your stay to be memorable - from filling the hummingbird feeders hanging in front of every cabins' long screened in porch, to presetting the fire pits every night that are surrounded by comfy Adirondack... We've been going to Niboban Camps for 2 week every summer since 2002. For us it's like a home comming every summer. The entire staff, Wes, Ty, John, and the owner Jean have become extended family to us. The cabins and grounds are very well maintained, and exceptionally clean. The entire staff is helpfull to all your needs. Whether it's... More

As we prepare to leave for our 5th week long stay at Niboban (long i, long o) Camps, I noticed there are a dearth of reviews for lodging and dining in Rangeley. I'm not sure if that is because there isn't much to say, or if those of us who love Rangeley simply want to keep it to ourselves. Either... More

Niboban Sporting Camps are your base camp for adventure. A truly unique property consisting of 45 acres of mixed fields and woods. 2,400 feet of prime frontage on Rangeley Lake, all located next to Rangeley Lake State Park and its 870 acres of unspoiled wilderness. Our location overlooking the lake and western Maine mountains beyond is very private. Each cabin has two bedrooms with twin beds, a full bath, a great room with full kitchen facilities and forced hot air heat. You can relax on the spacious screened-in porch with your early morning coffee, while you plan a day of fishing, hiking, boating, or snowmobiling and snowshoeing in the winter. Rangeley Lake is famous for native Brook Trout and Landlocked Salmon. We have a pleasant sandy beach and swimming cove just a short walk from the cabins and our docks accommodate up to a 20' boat with moorings available for larger craft. We also have a canoe and kayak launching and storage area, and outdoor fire pits stocked each day with wood. The main lodge has a game room, TV lounge and wireless internet service.
