Horrible little hotel shoved behind a plaza. Dirty musty rooms. The AC doesn't work properly. They leave it off to save power (even when you have prebooked) so your room is as hot as hell. The windows have no screens and don't lock. Even on the first floor! The doors have huge gaps so any critters or noises from the...

Was very skeptical when arriving - speedy check in - but detached property looked questionable! Host inquired if we wanted to upgrade for $10 more - agreed! Great move!! Very very happy with our accommodations! Very quiet and very nice! My husband didn't care for pillows - but can't please everybody! We would definitely stay here again - property was...

From the time you drive up until you leave, you have an uneasy feeling about this place. It was the only place we could find for a busy weekend in Portland, should have gone on to the next town. Seriously. The fridge didn't work, no way to cancel without losing all of your money, the motel itself is behind a...

Kind of scary when you pull up to register....but the hotel staff is great and the rooms are clean, new and very nice. Would stay again. Only part is going behind the restaurant to get to your room. Forget the outside, the inside is great.

Inside we found the room to very comfortable. Everything is brand new and super clean. In another review it said people we smoking , we noticed...

I booked one night at the Inn of Portland on my way to Acadia. I was just looking for somewhere cheap and convenient to sleep. The man at the front desk was very friendly upon check-in and directed me around back to the 500 building. The hotel is made up of multiple buildings and I was concerned when I noticed...

When I saw someone smoking on an old beat-up sofa set outside against the wall; people actually squatting on their heels talking loudly in the driveway and on the sidewalk; the laundry room door open to the outside, revealing piles of "empties" (bottles and cans) and debris; and the unexpected sight of orderly rows of scraggly little plants growing in...

Very happy with our choice of accommodations when visiting Portland for one night. Didn't want to spend a lot of money down in the center of the city but wanted a clean, safe and comfortable hotel for one night and the Inn at Portland was all of that! I plan to stay there the next time I am in Portland.

The Inn at Portland is a large motel a little deceiving from the main road, as the booking office is separate to the motel. The motel might have been going through renovating maybe new carpet. A slight smell to it. Rooms were big enough, but short on facilties. No bar fridge, no microwave, spaces there but empty. Our coffee machine...
