Stayed overnight on recent last minute weekend to Portland- very enjoyable. Location is great, near Congress Street where if transitions from commercial to residential. Short walk to sites & restaurants. Free on site parking. Things to consider: it is an old (1830's) Row house. This means, yes, narrow steep stairs, creaky floors, a bit odd shaped rooms, retrofitted baths and...

First visit to Portland. Went in December. This is a good location with off street parking walked everywhere from here right in the Arts District with plenty of bars, pubs, restraunt and shops. The inn had a lot of character and I was very comfortable there. Room was clean liked the style. Made a midnight snack and cup of tea...

We spent the weekend in October. Stayed in the Shelly room which is thru a door in the breakfast room. We were up early but if you want to sleep in do not choose this room as you can hear everything in the breakfast room. Breakfast was ok but not special. Our mattress sunk in the middle and the headboard...

Stayed 3 nights and couldn't have asked for better service and the rooms are excellent. Staff is very nice and helpful, always had a smile on their face and pleasant to talk to. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for 2 nights while going up the coast of main. First the positives of the Percy Inn. The location is in the arts district and is very close to restaurants, shops and museums. We even walked to the pier for a whale watching tour. The rooms are cozy but have all the basics. They have snacks and...

I have stayed at many B&B's around the country. My expectation is for updated facilities, well cared for, a nice breakfast, and nice location. The people at the Inn were very nice. They went out of their way to take care of us. The Inn itself is run down. It was updated over twenty years ago and they have not...

The Inn has a parking lot. The first flight of stairs was steep, the second flight even more so and it curves too. So, this not an easily accessible inn. The room was clean and nicely appointed. The room comes with printed rules, which may be a benefit for those not familiar with staying in a B&B. The breakfast failed...

Spent 4 nights here in the Emerson room. Very very private, with a nice deck. The room was very clean, the mattress was very comfortable. I found it quiet and intimate. Breakfast was delicious. Parking is on the grounds and included, but a bit tight. Cindy and her son were so nice. We'll be back. Thanks.

Fabulous place with a great staff. Very memorable. Historic and charming- great location- walking distance of downtown in one direction and the waterfront in the other direction. A great neighborhood. Fabulous breakfast. Adequate parking. Did I mention we'll be back? Highly recommended.

We found the Percy Inn online at a great price. The only reason we did not give it a five star was because it was a little dated. This is not a problem if you like old school charm. The place was very clean and the bathroom was updated. Cindy was very nice and very accommodating. Breakfast was good with...
