4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago NEW

We stayed three nights recently. We had stayed here several years ago, but in recent years had stayed at the Ocean House. Both places have been renovated and are much more cozy and attractive. We had a first floor room with a king bed which was a great location as stairs have become difficult for me and a private bath.... More

We went to Port Clyde on a Mustang road trip and landed there by chance. The Seaside Inn was perfect. The roooms, the view, the restaurant and general store. Couldn't ask for anything better. The staff were all fantastic. Don't hesitate to go there if you want to unwind and enjoy the view. Thanks again everyone. Claude and Nicole from... More

The Seaside Inn is right across from the dock and general store in Pt. Clyde and the Monhegan Boat Line. You can easily walk everywhere in town. Adjacent to the inn is the Barn Cafe, which is a fun place to gather. Menu changes each day. Breakfast is in the general store.

Cozy, friendly and clean - great location, especially to catch the early ferry to Monhegan. Walls are kinda thin, shared bathrooms are few, parking is tight, but if you leave the big rig at home and shoot for a private bath you should love it.

The Seaside Inn is right across the street from the ferry dock and Port Clyde General store. Park your car and you can walk to everywhere in town. My room on the second floor of the inn was small, but perfect for someone traveling solo. Breakfast was across the street at the general store which was just fine. Might have... More

The Inn was what we needed for our one night stay in Port Clyde. Like others have said, there is no TV or air conditioning but for us none was needed. The room was small but nicely decorated. The breakfast at the General Store was delicious.

The Seaside was a happy surprise on our trip out to Monhegan Island. It is directly across the street from the ferry dock so getting the ferry to the island couldn't be easier. Pretty room, but could use some softer pillows. Breakfast was served temporarily in the general store across the street due to renovations, but it was great. It... More

My wife and I stayed at Seaside Inn last Saturday night. Our room was Room 2 "across the street" at what used to be the Ocean House Hotel but is now Seaside's annex. It was a great room! Light and airy, two very comfy Queen beds, charming claw tub shower, and easy access to an outside second level porch overlooking... More

Thanks for the lovely review! We have just recently opened seven of the rooms in the Ocean House Hotel, and it's great to hear how comfortable you found your room. I agree, sitting on the porch of the Ocean House watching the sunset over the harbor is just a bit magical! We look forward to seeing you again in August! More

If you are looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay on the Maine coastline, then definitely stay at the Seaside Inn. This place is absolutely gorgeous. There are many landmarks around the area including beautiful lighthouses. The people are wonderful, and the food is fantastic!
