Homestyle cooking, comfortable beds, and hot showers are all part of the experience. The scenery is spectacular from the Aroostook River bordering the property, to the skies with beautiful sunrises and sunsets to the eagles and occasional moose visits. Ride your sled to our Buffalo Ride-In restaurant and enjoy a hot meal and great company before you continue on your way, or spend the night in our comfortable rooms. We also have our class 5 liquor license and on-site bar.

I visited the lodge for a grouse hunt with my son and wife. Scott, Paul and Ryan were outstanding hosts. They guided us thu the woods looking for grouse and rabbits. They are experts at what they do. We have a successful hunt and I am coming back next year!

There was no heat beyond cheap electric heaters. The showers were ice cold. NO fire alarms in sight. Their American plan breakfast was box mix pancakes, oleo, and fake syrup. Dinners included frozen foods mildly reheated. They don’t bother sanding walkways so pass at your own risk. We had 12 people and will find a more accommodating place next year. The only time the staff smiled was when we begrudgingly paid. It was awful. The snowmobile trails were great though.

Terrific place to go. Our family of 10 (Dad, Mom, and 8 children ages 21 years down to 2 years)had the best hunting trip EVER! Terrific food, great guide service, wonderfully comfortable and clean accomodations, superb company. John, Gloria and their staff are among the friendliest people we've ever met, and they are professional to a fault. Their home is so beautiful and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better time. Not cheap- but more than worth the money. Our 4 hunters bagged two bears, and the 10 year old missed a beautiful bruin. We are saving for our next trip and can't wait to go back. Too bad the week was over so fast. Fabulous experience!
