My husband and I can not say enough wonderful things about this place! The camp ground was spotless as well as the restrooms and showers. We were amazed at how much there is to do right on the grounds such as boating, swimming, and fishing! The views are beautiful, the camping areas are spacious and secluded yet close to all the amenities. We loved how family friendly Balsam Cove campground was to us as this was our first time visiting, it was like a community. There are many activities for the kids and on the weekends they even serve breakfast and dinner which was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. We will absolutely be back and can see this being a regular spot for our family. Thank you for such a relaxing and enjoyable camping experience!!

You can have waterfront, water view, wooded or open. Well maintained with good restrooms. Lake is beautiful! We stayed two weeks here. Reasonably close to town for shopping and restaurants. Security is good here.

This is the best campground in the entire state of Maine. We travel extensively during the summer in our motor home so we visit a lot of campgrounds. This one blew us away. We will absolutely be spending an extended stay here for the 2019 season. There are sites for everyones taste. Water view, water front wooded, open, pull through and tent sites. They do a slew of fun activities from hayrides to bonfire saturdays, christmas in july and halloween events and every single person you run into either camper or staff is rediculously friendly. The lake is fun, the swimming area is huge with 2 large floating warfs. You can rent boats from kayaks to pontoon boats. There is a dog park and a seperate beach/swimming area for dogs. This place has it all. If you have never stayed here you are missing out. I highly recommend you try it.

I cannot even begin to say what a great place Baslam Cove Campground is. If you are looking for a great place with beautiful views look no further. This place hits all the marks at a great price. There is something for campers of all ages. I can’t say enough about our experience at camp. We loved it so much that when we got home we went ahead and asked to set up another reservation. This place is Orland’s best hidden secret. From outdoor concerts, to horseshoes, basketball , arcade games, great fishing, laundry, a great beach and you heard it here first FREE hot showers in a beautiful facility. They pride themselves on keeping the campground clean, and well manicured. The sites are spacious and the flower gardens are gorgeous. They even have a playground with a Pirate Ship. Thank you Balsam Cove. We are anxiously awaiting our next trip❤️
