Waterfront sites overlooking the lake are beautiful. The bathhouse is one of the nicest ones I've seen at a campground. The sites are gravel, so be forewarned if you're in a tent. The best part about this location is the lack of ambient light, so you'll see every star in the sky along with possibly some meteors or satellites -...

Nice campground & management but sites are really tight. The pond is refreshing but i have to say the people at campground are dirty they do not clean up after them selves there was clothes, shoes, drinks and toys everywhere making swim area appear trashy. Overall it is really nice campground in a good location. Management should put a sign...

After reading the most recent reviews we almost cancelled our reservation to this campground however I am glad we didn't. We stayed for 3 nights during the week. We have a small travel trailer and reserved a spot near the water. It's a good thing we have such a small camper as these sites are very small. It was a...

We were traveling with our camper, and were notified that a close family member had been hospitalized at Blue Hill Hospital. We quickly searched for campgrounds in the area, and were able to secure a reservation at Balsam Cove. Tammy was was very courteous and helpful on the phone. We placed our reservation around 8:30 am. We took our 5 year old daughter here over this past weekend. She loved it! We rented the cabin close to the playground and swim area. Cabin was clean, comfortable, and close to the bathrooms. Bathroom/showers were also very clean. After reading other reviews I was concerned about dog mess, but dogs aren't allowed in the play/swim area and elsewhere...

We have never been treated as badly as we were here. The new manager Justin is crazy!! We booked a seasonal sight for $6800 it was supposed to be a large lakefront site with a private dock. We arrived to our dock pilled up and not installed. Paying 3X as much as any other site you would think they would...

I wanted to surprise our son on his Birthday by renting him a cabin for the night - I rented cabin number #35 and found the little rustic cabin to be just what I wanted- the cabin had a little shelf/table, and little fridge and microwave - it had a full sized bed and a bunkbed- the mattress is pretty...

Had to cancel my reservation but did so 4 months in advance. They charged my credit card a cancellation fee! To make matters worse they charged me the whole amount of my reservation. They did refund saying it was a mistake and had the NERVE to take out a cancellation fee! These are new owners and they DO NOT know...

We stayed at the campground during a week in September.Great waterview campsite with all hookups. With passport american discount, it was one of the better deals we have experience in two years of camping.

Stayed for a weekend. Was happy it wasn't very packed. Wanted a quiet place to chill and this was it. One of the cheaper campground we've stayed at. Even the wood was cheaper then all the others we've done this summer. The site was spacious and partly shaded+ Bathrooms were very clean and the showers were nice and hot. There...
