Great place for kids to ride bikes and have fun. BMX trail, basketball court, pools, wilderness course. Problem we had was we rented the 2 bedroom loft cabin. Second bedroom with the twin beds, tell me how you can get large kids in there? you can't move the bed frame to allow them to get in... So my daughter moved in with me, the boys had to share the loft area. What I paid for I did not get to use. The kitchen needs more counter space and who can put their food in the cabinets when your 5'7 and you need to be 7 feet tall to reach them? no foot stool could be found. I broom would have been nice for the sand and food crumbs for the boys. Since we did have a mouse that came in at night. I had to clean up the droppings.

Property's Favorite Review
I was a bit hesitant after seeing some reviews on here that the cabins were full of mice, or dirty. My family of four and my sister's family of five booked two cabins in two different locations. BOTH of our cabins were not only nice but spotless. I am very picky about cleanliness and I had zero complaints. The cabins had clearly been cleaned extremely well prior to our arrival. We had a two-bedroom cabin with a loft. My only complaint about the cabin was that the bunk bedroom was tiny so you could literally not move in it. My two children (7 and 9) felt more comfortable in the loft. The master bedroom has its own bathroom which was a nice surprise! My sister had a two-bedroom without a loft and they had two nice decent-sized rooms and one bathroom. The cabins are different but each had its own perks. I had also read reviews that the staff was rude and unfriendly. I didn't find this to be true at all. The ladies at the front desk were cheerful and always helpful. I called a few times to ask questions and they were always kind and able to answer quickly. I have zero complaints about the staff! The pools were great and there were three to choose from. We went to the ocean walk pool near our cabin which was a good size. Plenty of chairs and fairly quiet. The aerial view adventure was by far our favorite part. Definitely worth the money! They also have a mini-golf course which we played on one night as well. Overall we had a great trip. I would highly recommend!

We were not staying here but instead paid a very reasonable rate to use the Adventure Course. Had a two hour reserved time. The first 20 minutes was getting into gear and getting instructions. There were three staff working....all were older and experienced. Me and my sons (9 and 13) did the lower ropes course first.....plenty challenging for me! Then my oldest and I did the zipline course. Youngest was not old enough (need to be 10), so he did the higher ropes course. (He did get to a standing zipline-type ride as part of his course). Every part of it was awesome! Took some strenuous work to complete it all but not too bad. My youngest was having a bit of an equipment issue (one of his hooks was stuck in place). He yelled for staff, and Kaitlyn came right up to him to help. Then she stayed right with him the rest of the way...provided dad with alot of relief! Safety here is excellent. We all highly recommend this activity and park. They allowed my wife and four year old to use the playground and pool while they were waiting for us. The park is beautiful and looks great. (Only negative is the train going by). We will be back!

I thought i was at Disney World with the amount of mice living in our cabin. It's ridiculous to pay 400$ a night and have mice running around your kitchen and living inside the fire place (HUGE FIRE HAZARD BTW) and when you tell the staff they do absolutely nothing about it. NEVER GOING BACK

My family visits this camp ground yearly and we love it. We came upon it accidentally a few years ago when the place we planned to stay was full and we are so glad it worked out that way. The pools are lovely , the playground is fun for the kids and the staff are amazing . We stayed here specifically because of the fun interactive activities they offer like Christmas in July and trick or treating. We will be back every year and highly recommend this place .

Ok first people at office were very nice, how ever they were to busy or seemed to busy to help or even try to move my site, if you have dogs or small childern do not stay at campsite t66 there are 4 huge pine trees that drip sap all over camp site, you track the sap in your rv no matter how hard you try not to, both my dogs have sap in there hair. There is no grass on this site, none of these site a premier, my site didn't even have a picnic table I had to call and request. Also this site is surrounded by people that pay for all year and treat you like crap because your not a local, there is no quite time people are drunk and loud all night. My son is 18 with a driver license but couldn't drive a rented golf cart, but if you own your own it's ok if your 12 and drive so many double standards. A premier site should have a level site, a nice fire ring some sort of patio, some grass this had none not worth 100+ a night. Also the camp store sucked.I hope this helps any questions ask me.

We rented a two bedroom cottage with a loft for a family of 7 people. We were able to fit comfortably. Just to note, the loft area is very small - we had three children 12 and under up there and I can't imagine them fitting comfortably if they were older. The cabin was clean, but worn and dated. It came stocked with necessary cookware and eatery and if anything was missing, the front desk was happy to replace it. The 3 pools were smaller than I expected and it was difficult to social distance during the day when they were crowded. It was much better to swim in the evening. It was about a 10 min walk to the beach from our cabin which was really nice. The mini golf course and aerial ropes course were great amenities that we enjoyed. The staff at the ropes course were very friendly! I was disappointed to see the amount of people who speed through the campground on golf carts. We observed many near accidents while sitting on our porch.

We stayed at Wild Acres for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. We rented cottage V-A1 and it was the perfect size for 4 adults. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with pots, pans, kitchen utensils, blankets, and pillows. The cottage site had a nice picnic table and fire pit ring, and plenty of space to park 2 cars. A train passes through here and there, but it’s not that bad at all. Some of the reviews on here make it sound like the train runs all day, but I heard It only once in the morning and once at night. The location of this campsite is perfect from either end of the property you can access the beach. Also, the pier and downtown area is a short walk 1 1/2 mile walk. Also just a 4 mile car ride you can go fishing in Camp Ellis right off the dock.

This is our second time staying at this campground and we will not be back. We checked in and made our way to the unit, L85 (2 bedroom Premium Cottage Rental). Upon entry, we were greeted by filth, dust & trash. We were also missing blankets and pillows. I immediately called management, informed them and they sent someone over. I explained and showed what was dirty in the unit and also asked if there was another unit available. The lovely woman said she would check and also send some blankets and pillows over. I never heard back from her or the management office so I proceeded to clean the unit. I spent an hour cleaning the bathrooms, sweeping the floors, wiping down the mattresses/beds and wiping down the walls; that’s how filthy the unit was. The next day, someone from the “cleaning department” came over & asked what was wrong/dirty in the unit and what needed to be cleaned. I informed her that I had already cleaned the unit the day before, since no one came back to do so. She just replied ok, and offered no apology for the inconvenience. Two days later, I checked out and had to remind them of the units condition, only then did they offer me a discount on our entire stay. No apologies, nothing. I had the most uncomfortable sleep/stay here that I couldn’t wait to get home. 6 days later, I notice a charge of $100 on my bank statement from Wild Acres. I call & inquire about the charge and was told that it was for ripped paint in the loft section of the unit! I explained to the manager on duty that the unit was in terrible condition when rented to us (pictures below to prove it), she did not care and stated that the unit was clean, just not to my standards. She claimed the “cleaning lady Cynthia” has pictures of the walls before and after it being rented and states the walls were not like that. I also asked her to send the pictures of the damage (with the date and time taken) and she declined. So the same unit I had to spend an hour cleaning, I then damaged? The manager was completely rude and unprofessional. We had the same issue last year and the did a wonderful job of rectifying the situation and we enjoyed our stay! Hence the reason we came back. We’re easy going people, and I understand that’s won’t be perfect. As long as issues are handled in a timely, courteous and professional manner, I’m understanding. After this nasty incident, I will never stay at this camp resort again.
