We have only stayed here in Spring & Fall, so I can't speak to what it's like in the height of summer. Room was clean and well cared for, but could have used some updating. Refrigerator & micro were clean, tho dated also. Location is good. Easy walk to the center of town & some restaurants. Pool area was clean...

Stayed here the first week of August. Was very pricey, I guess its the norm at that time of year. Had a very nice room. Pool area was nice, cold water though. Continental breakfast was slim pickings indeed considering the price. Very slim. Donuts were fresh. Room was clean, no dust, mattress stains or dirty pillows. Kind of a 60s...

After an 18 month hiatus, we returned to the Colonial Village Resort for a long autumn weekend. At the front desk we were greeted by a man whom we had never seen on our previous visits. He said "Yes?" After hearing that we had a reservation, there was a lot of mouse clicking and sighing until he found it. After...

This property is a little older and could stand some upgrades, but it's clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. Our room was in a single-story, motel-like building. There was a huge step up from the parking lot. We had a king bed, a nice wooden table with two chairs, two other armchairs for relaxing, a kitchenette, and bathroom. The kitchenette...

My husband, myself and two year old Angel our lab retriever visited Colonial Village Resort about one month ago. We had seen some not so positive reviews previous to our arrival, so we were a bit apprehensive. Angel was on her first road trip, so we rented a cabin with a screened porch. It was the cabin we had seen...

Our room smelled off and on of an outhouse for no discernible reason. The decor is 1980's nursing home. The pictures from other guests of actual grime are spot on. The staff was very friendly--they get an A. But the property is not one I would return to unless there was an overhaul.

We had a great trip to this New England motel. Having read a few less than positive reviews I was a little concerned, but I have to conclude that the individuals writing those reviews must have been used to those "sterile" chain hotels with no character. Colonial Village is a lovely place in the New England tradition---the room we had...

I was very impressed with how much space there was. My husband and I both commented that it was the size of my old apartment, maybe bigger 😂 I will say that the bed was not comfortable at all. We both agreed to sleep on top of the comforter because the more cushion the better. If they put some money...

Our rooms were clean and seemed to be recently renovated. No mold in sight with perfectly working AC units. Wish check in could be a little bit more efficient, but after a long summer I can understand the laid back attitudes. Also, would it really be too difficult to get wifi that works further than the main building or the...
