We had a great trip to this New England motel. Having read a few less than positive reviews I was a little concerned, but I have to conclude that the individuals writing those reviews must have been used to those "sterile" chain hotels with no character. Colonial Village is a lovely place in the New England tradition---the room we had... More

I was very impressed with how much space there was. My husband and I both commented that it was the size of my old apartment, maybe bigger 😂 I will say that the bed was not comfortable at all. We both agreed to sleep on top of the comforter because the more cushion the better. If they put some money... More

Our rooms were clean and seemed to be recently renovated. No mold in sight with perfectly working AC units. Wish check in could be a little bit more efficient, but after a long summer I can understand the laid back attitudes. Also, would it really be too difficult to get wifi that works further than the main building or the... More

We booked for labour day weekend. $300+ a night for the "Two bedroom suite". It did have two closed bedrooms. This property has not been renovated since the 70's, there was mold in the bathroom , the tub was filthy, the toilet was broken. The kitchenette was old and dirty, the carpets were stained as was the ceiling. The "continental... More

Yes it is dated but how much time do you spend in the room? It is a great location! The problem I had this year, and why I won't go back is this: His name is "Lennie" he is one of the maintance men. His behavior was so uncomfortable for me and my family. He was berating the housekeepers, yelling... More

Stayed here a few days over Labor Day. Advise that you find somewhere else - the advertised Wifi was non-existent. There was a small kitchen in the room, with glasses/cups, but no sponge for washing dishes and there was a $12 fee for unwashed dishes. No plastic or disposable cups provided at all (super annoying). The bathroom had thick cobwebs... More

We stopped in Ogunquit for the night. My partner had stayed at Colonial Village Resort with his family in 2004. He remembered it as a nice family run business. We stayed in a king room in the front of the building. There was mold around the sink. The shower dripped water all over the bathroom floor. The furniture was broken... More

We are a family of five. This motel is comfortable, clean and spacious enough to accommodate 5 ppl. It is close to Footbridge beach, and on the trolley route. Prices were reasonable too. Continental breakfast included fresh locally made donuts.

Location was very good. Check in was smooth. Front desk clerk was polite A very vocal unhappy housekeeper complaining about guests. Next morning same employee complaining about guests showing up to early for coffee and stated she was just "not into it today, I'm sitting". Room was ok but expected more for the price. Keep the complaining behind closed doors.
