Detailed Reviews
This was the second time we stayed at The Dragonfly Guest House. We love the Ogunquit area, and the quiet location of the Guest House. It’s within walking distance to Perkins Cove and the entrance to Marginal Way. The Guest House was just how we had remembered: warm and inviting, clean, comfortable, and beautiful grounds.
Charles and David are wonderful hosts! Both so personable too. Everything was just perfect. The breakfast was delicious, and the afternoon cookies were such a yummy treat.
We were traveling during the “Covid Pandemic”. We can’t say enough how safe we felt staying here. There was plenty of hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes on hand throughout the Guest House, and in the guest rooms. Breakfast was served individually, and there were many options to choose where to dine at (all while maintaining social distance).
It was evident that to Charles and David, safety of their guests was a priority.
We look forward to coming back to visit, and will definitely stay here again.

Charles, David, and of course Cooper, are truly the best hosts we've encountered in our 31 years of travel as a married couple, although there were many others in the "amazing" category. The Dragonfly Guest House is spotless, comfortable, and welcoming, and never before when away from home have we felt so much at home. The location offers easy and speedy access to the Marginal Way, the Town, and Perkins Cove. The homemade breakfasts are delicious and varied. The cookies are yummy! Recommendations for restaurants and activities were spot on. We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed although the shower was just a bit small. It is difficult to travel during COVID, yet Charles and David mastered the science to make all feel comfortable and truly safe. The hosts are always available, but never over powering. We will stay at the Dragonfly again in the future. I can't explain it....the trio (Charles, David, Cooper) is just so very warm, kind, helpful, welcoming, charming....

We had a fantastic time at the Dragonfly Guest House, we stayed in the blue room, it was immaculate and very comfortable. The best part was breakfast, it was amazing, frittata quiche, home baked muffins or scones, home made granola and always fresh fruit. They even have afternoon treats. Charles and David are warm, welcoming and exceptional hosts. The location is perfect, you can walk to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way, the beach, shopping and great restaurants. I highly recommend staying and the Dragonfly Guest House, Charles and David are the best.
Looking forward to going back.

We can't wait to return (and already booked our next two trips) to the Dragonfly! Charles, David, and sweet Cooper made our first visit to Ogunquit perfect. Charles greeted us upon arrival, assisted us in carrying our bags to our room, and spent time giving us an overview of this absolutely charming town. Our room was sparkling clean, and since there was a bit of a heat wave at the time, the air conditioning had already been turned on for us upon arrival. Breakfasts were a treat, with daily specials as well as standard offerings, but that isn't the only reason to stay. From the all-day coffee bar to fresh cookies in the afternoon to the beach towels and chairs you can borrow to explore the coast, Charles and David go out of their way to make their guests feel like family. Their location is perfect for walking trips to the beach, shops, and the Ogunquit Playhouse, and their private lot means you can park your car and never move it during your stay. Thank you both for such a lovely weekend - see you in September!

I loved everything about staying at the Dragonfly Guest House. The location was ideal - within walking distance of everything without being right in the middle of the noise and chaos. My room was perfect, and I loved having the little balcony to enjoy my last cup of delicious coffee outside every morning.
Charles and David were excellent hosts. Their breakfasts were delicious and during my stay they just seemed to do things that were very thoughtful and personal, whether it was around food, providing advice or suggestions, or having the most wonderful backpack beach chairs for our use. They showed how much they cared about their clientele in numerous ways...very nice.
I felt very lucky to have chosen to stay at the Dragonfly as opposed to other places that I saw while I was in Ogunquit. I was sorry to leave when it was time to go.

My wife and I stayed at the Dragonfly for three nights. It is immaculate! The innkeepers are very personable and always happy to help. They add a lot of nice touches—freshly baked cookies every afternoon, 24/7 coffee, and readily available beach chairs and towels. They cook a fantastic breakfast as well! The inn is centrally located, so it is very easy to walk to both downtown areas. We look forward to returning as soon as possible.

Had a great 2 night stay at the Dragonfly this week. The property is immaculate, the rooms are clean and comfy, and the owners are extremely nice and accommodating. Overall, it was a great place to stay and a perfect location for shopping, beach and food. They are adhering to COVID rules requiring masks in the common area but once you’re seated you can enjoy a delicious breakfast. Each day around 2 you can have a home-baked cookie which are individually wrapped and waiting in the common area. Super cute place and great experience. Will be going back, if they’ll allow us.....

I can't say enough good things about my 9/25 to 9/27 2020 stay at the Dragonfly.
The location is great and very close to everything Ogunquit has to offer. We walked everywhere and enjoyed a warm late September weekend.
Charles and David obviously take a lot of pride in their place and it shows. They are very welcoming and are happy to show you around the place when checking in. The Blue Sky room we stayed in was spotless and very comfortable. The deck off our room provided a nice late afternoon break from walking before heading out for dinner. Breakfast included a hot dish as well as breads, muffins, fruit, fresh made granola which was awesome in some yogurt! Everything was tasty and we were able to enjoy it on the deck each morning. Look for some delicious cookies in the afternoon!
David and Charles are also making sure that people are comfortable during the covid pandemic. There's hand sanitizer and wipes everywhere. They also ask that a mask is worn while walking around which is very understandable. I think they are doing a great job with what I'm sure is a challenging time for them.
If you are looking for a fantastic bed and breakfast in Ogunquit the DragonFly is a great choice!

We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived early at the Dragonfly Guest House, and Charles was there to welcome us, our room ready for us. Charles and David have created a such warm, inviting, cozy Inn, close to everything in Ogunquit. They were always available to suggest a restaurant or offer information about the area. Our room was comfortable and immaculate. The breakfast was such a treat as we are foodies. The choices exceeded most hotel breakfasts to say the least, and it was served in keeping with Covid restrictions. There were beach towels and chairs for our use. The nighttime twinkling lights off of the deck were such a nice touch, lovely to sit on the deck enjoying the lights and the moon. Everything we could hope for and more. Thanks Charles and David...we'll be back!

Our group of two couples were fortunate to have recently stayed here. The guest house is perfectly located within walking distance of both Perkins Cove in one direction, and the center of town in the other direction. With two gracious and charming hosts, Charles and David, a guest enjoys a spotlessly clean inn with cheerful rooms and a delicious breakfast with home backed goods. The gardens are beautiful and the panelled main room is comfortable for reading and for conversation with other guests. The deck offers a welcoming place to take breakfast or to relax. Beach chairs and beach towels are available. The rooms are comfortable with terrycloth robes, Turkish towels and plenty of pillows. The hosts make themselves available for anything to make your stay more enjoyable. They provided our party with wine glasses, a corkscrew and extra deck seating for our group's impromptu pre-dinner wine tasting one evening. There is also free off-street parking.
