The owners create the feel of coming home and being on vacation at the same time. There is literally no detail left overlooked. The grounds are charming and tasteful with a garden, Adirondack chairs and a coy pond. The happy hour offers a nice opportunity to socialize with the owners and other quests. The wrap around screened in porch and cozy inside common areas offer an option for quiet time or making new friends. The owners create and serve amazing breakfasts and offer the recipes in their own cookbook to purchase and take home with you. The rooms each have their own unique touch with incredibly comfortable beds and sheets/pillows that we loved so much that we just had to take a set home! The location is perfect as it offers shopping, beaches, and restaurants all within easy walking distance. We have already booked another getaway here!

Property's Favorite Review
Our 6th year visiting The Trellis House and they never disappoint. Owners Laurence and Glen are amazing. They helped make my 60th birthday one to remember. Comfortable rooms, breakfast to die for, dinner reservations made for us, balloons and my favorite chocolate dessert with sweet messages to make my special occasion feel more special. All precautions are being met to keep people safe and healthy. Very little tourist traffic, so right now if you are from VT or NH, this is the place to go! Other state residents only need to be tested first or quarantine for 14 days starting on July 1. Make your reservation at the the Trellis House and be pampered! God knows we need that right now! Walking distance from the beach, amazing restaurants, shops, and the Marginal Way! The weather right now is perfect, don't let this opportunity slip away!

From the moment we set foot in the Trellis House I knew this place was perfect for our little getaway with friends. Glen, Laurence and Bentley were the best hosts and every detail of our stay was absolutely perfect. The food was excellent. The happy hour was something we looked forward to every day. We were able to sit outside and admire the grounds while relaxing and reading a book. The location is situated perfectly between perkins cove and the main street area. We all loved it so much we booked a weekend in September before we left.

The Trellis House was by far the best b&b experience I've ever had! Laurence and Glen are the most thoughtful and welcoming hosts. Our room was spotless and their property is so charming. The location could not be better- close to the beach, town, perkins cove. Pretty much right in the middle of it all. The breakfast was absolutely delicious- homemade and creative, and the coffee was superb. They've truly put their heart and soul into making the Trellis House what it is today and they care so much about the experience of their guests. I can't wait to go back.
