The only nightly lodging on Perkins Cove. All our renovated rooms offer great views of the Cove and are a very short walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the Cove and the start of the Marginal Way.

Great experience and even better staff. We stayed for a few nights as a family of 4 with a 2 and 3 year old. The staff was very informative and helpful with all our accommodations and needs. We will definitely be returning next year!

We booked the only room left which looked lovely in the photos online. WRONG!! Tiny room. Tiny queen size bed. Bad chemical smells. Inadequate air conditioning. Only reason I gave this one star was for the amazing views and fantastic location. My husband complained bitterly without an end until 2 hours after we left

Great new interior decor This is all about location location location we arrive at 3:00 and rest up for our walk to Billy Barnacle's or Jackie's for dinner. Another walk to breakfast at the Cove Cafe after our complimentary coffee at the front desk. (Yes car still parked) After breakfast we get in the car and drive to Kennebunkport for the day including lunch at Mabel's 30 minute drive. Back to room which is very comfortable with a view of Perkins Cove and the boats We drive to Roberto's for dinner which provides free parking (very unusual) even though it is walkable We do this trip every couple of years and the Auberge on the Cove is the best

We were looking for a last minute place to stay as we were attending a show in Hampton and we always enjoy a place near water. We stayed in the Captains House (1874) which was beautifully redone. Room 51 (first floor) had a large bedroom with a king bed and full bath and you also had a large living room with full bath. Nice views from living room windows to the water where the boats are moored and little village across the foot/drawbridge. Had small fridge with freezer and pod coffee maker. Only negative is if someone is renting the room above you, they can be quite loud. Old floors are creaky and you can hear people walking around. Thankfully the AC unit had a fan with different speeds so we ran that on high to create white noise.

Excellent on all levels! Only thing that would make it perfect would be a small pool to come back to at the end of a hot day! The young woman at the front desk could not of been more receptive and full of local information.

The rooms at Auberge are clean and nicely decorated. You can’t beat the view from the balcony as it overlooks the Cove. The best part of Auberge is the staff. They treat you like family. If you have been there before, they greet you by name when you arrive. They are very accommodating if you ever have a problem and need to change your reservations. When I leave there, I can’t wait for my next trip there!

Perfect location on Perkins Cove ! The rooms have been recently renovated. We stayed in the Bridge house. The room had a door to the balcony which overlooks the cove with all the fishing boats. Cross the footbridge to access the shops and stop for a lobster roll at Barnacle Billys. Walk the Marginal Way to see the beautiful Maine rocky coast.

Beautiful view and nice room. Although the mini fridge is on the floor and very hard to access. It really needs to be on a table. When sitting outside enjoying the beautiful view the A/C was very loud and takes up so much room on the patio. The continental breakfast needs to be put back into place.

Room had a lovely view of the harbor. Shower should have had a grab bar. Room was pretty, clean and comfortable, but cords from TV were unsightly. One of the deck chairs had loose arms. For the price, breakfast should have been included. It was really nice to walk over the bridge into Perkins Cove for dinner.

Always a perfect location and the Auberge staff is always friendly and helpful. We love our happy place at Perkins Cove. Waking up to have coffee with a view of the Cove is so peaceful and beautiful. A short walk over the bridge to trolly, Marginal Way, shops and dining is perfect
