The managers Dave and Mark, were exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay a special one. When they found out it was our 40 th. Anniversary, we came back to the room, to find a nice bottle of Champagne waiting. Room was large, it had a fireplace and a jacuzzi, in the bedroom. It’s close to a lot of great restaurants, shops, and beaches.
We stayed here in August 2019. The room was clean and huge, comfy bed too. I’m most impressed with how Mark treated me. Originally we were taking my elderly father-in-law, who loves Maine, there for two nights for Father’s Day. Unfortunately he became quite ill and was unable to go. Two months later he coaxed us into going without him. We only got to use one of the two nights we paid for because the nurses, doctors called us several times and we were quite worried, left and went home. We had someone staying with him and it’s only an hour from home but my husband being an only child was very anxious about not being with his dad during this time. We still had one night available to us which Mark has been so kindly working with me to try to accommodate us so we could use or other night. We have not been able to go because of my father-in-law and now my health. I’m sad we didn’t get to use my other night. Thank you Mark for your patience and kindness. I would recommend anybody go here because it’s beautiful grounds and nice people, especially Mark. The hot tub was nice and hot. And I enjoyed relaxing for about an hour, near the pool. Other guests were very friendly too. Check out The Admiral’s Inn. It’s in a good spot, close to everything too. I hope to stay there again. …
My wife and I spent our 19th anniversary at The Admiral's Inn over this past Veteran's Day weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. We had previously stayed at the Colonial Inn, closer to the center of Ogunquit, but when I called to reserve, in late October, they were planning to close for the year. However, I was pleased that they recommended instead their sister inn, The Admiral's. Our unit was a lovely suite of two rooms that included a whirlpool bath and a king size bed. I liked very much the fact that it included a TV only in the sitting room. The Assistant General Manager, Mark Holt, was very welcoming and kindly took the time to chat with us about local happenings over the weekend. It was a very restful few days and we will definitely be coming back on future occasions. I'd recommend it very highly.…
Inn was very nice, Personnel was pleasant and knowledgeable about area, On the expensive side for what we had. Parking lot was not very well lighted . Noticed flood lights but didn't seem to be working,
We visited in October to research wedding venues. It was a very busy weekend in Ogunquit as it was Ogunquitfest and although we had been coming up here for more than 20 years this was our first stay at Admirals. The check in was easy and we were able to get in to our room early which was such a delight since we had appts later in the day and had just driven up from the Cape. The staff was welcoming during our whole stay and greeted us each time we entered the lobby. The rooms are fairly standard but very clean and comfortable. Check out was a breeze and we were very happy with our accommodations. The bonus was that I had forgotten a vest in my room and when I called was informed that they were holding it at the front desk. It is a 3 hour drive to get there from home so a few weeks after my stay I made arrangements to drive up to get it. When I called to confirm it was still being held, Tom at the front desk very kindly offered to swing by the post office and mail it back to save me a 6 hour round trip. He had my credit card info on file along with my address and 2 days after speaking to him, it arrived on my doorstep with a mere $14 mailing charge, which is much less than what filling my gas tank would have cost. He was so kind to offer and to do what he promised immediately and was a joy to work with. This is outstanding customer service and what will keep me coming back !…
