We found out about Rockmere Lodge by doing an internet search of inns in Ogunquit that are open during the off-season, and chose it among others because of their detailed website. It was terrific to get to see each room online and choose our room in advance - something few inns offer. Additionally, we really enjoyed seeing and reading about... More

Andy and Doug are great hosts. They make you feel so at home and part of the family. Rockmere is beautiful, old victorian charm and comfort. The room we stayed in was impecably kept. I would recommend anyone looking for a nice getaway to go to Rockmere.

Stayed for a weekend with eight friends. Doug and Andy couldnt have been more accomodating. Perfect reccommendations for local resturants and even where to take sunrise pictures. By the second day, they knew who had what food allergies and who preferred tea to coffee. Very in-tune to their guests. the Inn was beautiful and unique. Cant wait till the next... More

It was very nice when we went there in the winter. Since it was the off season the beaches and walks were practically all to ourselves. The Rockmere Lodge, where we stayed, had an excellent location. It it just a 10 second walk to the coast. The actual lodge was very comfortable and had a feel of home away from... More

my stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect. this was the best lodging place i've ever stayed in. there was relaxing/romantic music played all the time, which was very nice. the complimentary breakfasts are very good, and made with lots of love and care. the owners of the Rockmere were great also, very social, personable, friendly, accommodating. this weekend was... It was by fluke that I found the Rockmere on-line, but the Victoria-Ruth room and the abundance of dogs drew me to investigate this Victorian beauty in Ogunquit. I guess you could say I came for some isolation but left almost a people-person after the fun-spirited breakfasts conjured by Andy and Doug. There are about 20 birdfeeders about the property... My wife surprised me with a weekend birthday trip to Ogunquit and a stay at our absolute favorite Ogunquit destination – Rockmere! We often go up in the summer and this was our first trip in January… and it was just as wonderful as always. Andy and Doug had a “Welcome and Happy Birthday” sign on the front door of... More

We had a wonderful time at the Rockmere Lodge. It's a beautiul old inn with lots of character. Most rooms have views that overlook the Marginal Way and out to the ocean. We were there just after Christmas and the Lodge was still decorated to the hilt. Every room and nook and cranny had a fully decorated and lighted tree.... More

We celebrated our 35th anniversary at the Rockmere Lodge and had a great weekend there. The hosts were gracious, the breakfast was delicious and the inn is convenient to town, within walking distance, and is steps from the Marginal Way which is a seaside path. We had an ocean front room which was a bonus. All the rooms are decorated... More

For my December birthday this year my husband and friends treated me to a glorious weekend in Ogunquit at the Rockmere Lodge. This was the weekend before 'Christmas by the Sea', but there was plenty to do in town. The Inn was a real winter wonderland with holiday decorations everywhere. Each of our rooms was decorated with a beautiful tree... More
