This was our first time to the area and our first experience staying at a B&B. Bob and Andy made us feel so welcome. The breakfast on the porch each morning was delicious and the views of the ocean and the blooming flowers on the property was just so relaxing and inviting. Bonus:This property sits along the Marginal Way. Perfect... More

Would think after twenty four visits there would be nothing else to say but The Rockmere is always strifing to be better. The Innkeepers, Andy and Bob, still manage after 25 years in business to keep things fresh and new. Every year we return to find some portion of the inn has been redecorated or remodeled. Just when we think... More

The best location in Maine's best destination. Park your car for the duration of your stay. It's an easy stroll to town (take a left on the Marginal Way) or to Perkins Cove and the museum (right on the Marginal Way). Andy and Bob are superb hosts who enjoy interacting with guests and are able to develop a friendly atmosphere... More

This inn is a true 'home away from home." Starting with the innkeepers, Andy and Bob, you will enjoy all that is Rockmere Lodge. The extraordinary porch, ocean views, comfortable rooms and four-legged "heart-melters" all await you!

The location is spectacular as it is just a short walk to The Marginal Way and the beautiful rocky coastline. This lovely Victorian home is also fun and relaxing due to the care, welcoming attention and good humor of the hosts: Bob and Andy. It is obvious that many quests having been coming here for years and we hope we... More

Met friends vacationing here. They have been going for 24 years (now we know why). What a lovely B & B. Bob and Andy are the perfect hosts who really make you feel at home. Andy's breakfasts are delicious. The gardens are beautiful and all the different seating areas are enjoyable. The views are spectacular. Our room was a corner... More

This was our first stay with Andy and Bob but not our last. Entering this B and B feels like stopping to visit your favorite aunt and uncle. Each room is individually designed and welcoming. During our three night stay we enjoyed the breathtaking views from the porch, the third floor seating area, even right from our bed. This house... More

This charming Victorian was welcoming and relaxing. A quiet home after weeks with family. We spent time each day rocking on the porch, as we enjoyed the cool breeze and views of the ocean. Here we also enjoyed visiting with Bob. Morning breakfasts on the porch were a tasty way to begin our days. Rockmere is located on Marginal Way,... More

Rockmere Lodge has impeccable ocean views, a lovely breakfast on the outside porch overlooking the ocean, great conversations with the inn keepers and it was a delight to meet "the four-legged kids". Great trip!

Very grimy. Ceiling fan, wouldn't even think to turn on. Bath completely grimy. went to use blow dryer, covered in grim. Used "make up cloth" to remove it, but still didn't use it. Yuck! Wood trim, cabinets, walls in bathroom, filthy dirty. Didn't see door bell to ring, Host wasn't very greeting, for I didn't ring it. Not very inviting.... More
