We spent a week at Point Lookout - we had a 2 bedroom cabin that worked wonderfully for 2 couples across the road from a 3 bedroom cabin that was great for the 2 couples with children. The beds were comfy, the kitchens were well-stocked (we ate several meals in), the wifi and tvs kept up with everyone and the seating and eating areas were spacious. The more able-bodied among us enjoyed hiking to the lake (it IS hilly!). We all enjoyed the location. We went to Bar Harbor for a day, but appreciated that the mid-Coast was less busy. The one who loves to workout every morning was really impressed with the quality of the three fitness rooms and she took full advantage of them. The friendly staff answered any questions we had and even shared popcorn with us one afternoon. We had a wonderful week!

My family loved the stay. It was quiet, the cabins were immaculate and it felt like camping with all the amenities of home. The most beautiful setting in the woods, which was convenient to Camden and Belfast.

What a wonderful place to sit back, relax, and explore the mid-coast of Maine. The cabins are actually the way it looks in the pictures!! This is a great compliment. The woodwork inside our three bedroom cabin was wonderful. The place is well equipped for light cooking. We ate all breakfasts in after a quick stop at the supermarket. There is a fire pit, a small grill, lawn chairs, screened in porch with adirondack chairs. It's great just to hang out in the screen in porch and enjoy the great, cool, Maine summer. The check in was contactless. All the instructions were given clearly and right on time. Same with checkout. Ashley was very responsive to all questions emailed to her. The beds were firm and comfortable. There is a electric wood stove if you ever want to use it, and normal central heat and AC. The Roku on the TV is an excellent addition. It allows you to cast from your phone to watch anything you want to that you can access from your phone. You can also log on to your favorite streaming service with your own account. The wifi was fast and reliable. There are trails on-site. We did not have time to explore it but it seems like a wonderful thing to do. Oh, yes, and the unit is clean! Suggestions: More garbage cans in the rooms, more towels for the floor in the bathrooms, pot holder for hot dishes coming out of the oven. Warning: The rooms are NOT soundproof. Even low conversations are clearly heard in the other rooms inside the cabin. Be careful of what you say LOL. All in all, it was a great experience. Highly recommended.

We went to Point Lookout to have am extended family vacation. Although there is no pool or spa, they have everything else you need. Clean remodeled cabins fully furnished. Even has little gas stove. Staff were very nice and helpful. The grounds were wooded and cabins almost felt isolated from each other. There were many hiking trails leading to a lovely lake for canoeing or swimming. Location is near Camden. And not really close to any major Msine attraction, entrslly located from Bar Harbor. Acadia, Bangor, and Portland. Grocery store and restaurants. Including rocky Beach all about a mile. Highly recommend it.

This place is just what we were looking for. Our cabin was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I slept very well the entire week. We got a smaller cabin so our kitchen was a little smaller but had what we needed. We stayed off season so not as many restaurants were open, so the kitchen came in handy for making easy dinners and a hearty pre-hike breakfast. We tried one of the on site trails and enjoyed it. It is well located to head either north to Belfast or the southern small peninsulas. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a long weekend get away for my husband and i and our pup. We stayed at the 1 bedroom cabin and absolutley loved it. The cabin was very spacious, clean, they had water and food bowls for the pup as well. the hiking trails nearby were wonderful and we hiked to Knights Pond a few times and what a beautiful and peaceful place. I also realized that i left 2 jackets in the cabin and emailed them immediately and they responded very promptly that housekeeping found my items and they shipped them to me the next day. Really exceptional

# bedroom cabin was perfect for 5 women on a hiking getaway. The beds were super comfortable with nice heavy comforter options and extra blankets in the closet. The kitchen was well appointed with all our needs. The cabin was clean and welcoming. Furniture is comfortable and perfect for meals and relaxing. Contactless check-in was simple and SUPER convenient. I got a text message with all the details. Will definitely return!

This was our second time staying at Point Lookout - once in their 2-bedroom cabin and once in their one-bedroom cabin. Both cabins had ample space, great amenities, and were so clean & cozy! There's everything you need to cook in the cabin, but we also went down to Camden to explore restaurants there, as well as the Whale's Tooth Pub right down the road. For day activities, there's so many great hikes around the area and throughout Camden Hills State Park. Another huge plus for us was having our dog with us. Our dog is pretty skittish (but loves being outside and hiking with us!), so having our own cabin space without her hearing slamming doors or people in adjacent rooms (like you'd find in a traditional hotel) was perfect.

We enjoyed a 4-day stay at Point Lookout and wish we could have stayed longer. We had a 2-bedroom cabin with a nice size kitchen that allowed us to cook breakfast and dinner most of the time. The cabin is beautiful and immaculately clean! We arrived to find a cozy fire burning and bowls set out for our Labrador pup! The screened front porch was a relaxing place to settle after long days exploring beautiful Down East Maine. I have been coming to Maine almost every year since I was a child and Point Lookout is the most enjoyable place we have ever stayed. We will definitely return.

That’s awesome place. We stayed here for a week while exploring the beautiful Foliage sights of Maine from Oct 11 - Oct 19 and have a great time. We will come back next year. Point Lookout was a short drive away from Camden. close to everything
