We love staying here- the cabins are very clean and really roomy, with well appointed kitchens and cozy seating around the gas wood stove. The beds are comfortable, the shower head we had was awesome, and the towels are super thick and soft. Great getaway with friends.

My wife and I stayed at Point Lookout in mid-October 2022 and loved it!! Everything from booking, check-in and the cabin was perfect. And the location was ideal, within a short drive from the Bangor Airport and to pretty much any destination along the coast of Maine. I highly recommend anyone consider Point Lookout as an option for lodging.

Great cabin, well appointed, very comfortable and clean! Close to Camden State park. Excellent workout facility. Great trails to a lake on property. Nice local restaurant. Firepit at all cabins. Highly recommend.

We only stayed two nights, and I contracted Covid, so we could not take advantage of the amenities on-site. The site is beautiful and very well-maintained. The whole booking, check-in, check-out processes are contactless.

We loved the setting so much! Our place was clean and perfect for what we wanted. We were in the area for a wedding. Hiking trails, beach down the road made it a very nice spot to check out. Check out Dot's for breakfast and lunch. We never had a dinner out worth sharing about so we'll leave that out of the review. Point Lookout is so pretty! Our room had AC!

Our family stayed here for 5 nights while visiting the main coast in summer. The property is nice and well maintained. Our cabin was nice and plenty of space for our family (3 bedroom). The location was convenient to two towns (15 min drive), Camden and Belfast. It was about 1 hour 20 min to Acadia, which was a bit of a long drive, but we did it twice during our stay so not too bad. We enjoyed the wifi and the tv in the evenings to relax. The office has a nice large gym with lots of cardio equipment and weights, which we used a few times. Also a pool table and ping pong. One minor suggestion would be that the cabin could have some reusable plastic plates/bowls and cups for families with small children (or remember to bring your own). Only glass cups, etc. which made me nervous.

This place had everything we needed. They even give supplies to last 4 people a full day or more. The furniture is very comfortable. Each bedroom has their own bathroom. Every thing is there for bath supplies . could not say one bad thing about this place.

We spent a week at Point Lookout - we had a 2 bedroom cabin that worked wonderfully for 2 couples across the road from a 3 bedroom cabin that was great for the 2 couples with children. The beds were comfy, the kitchens were well-stocked (we ate several meals in), the wifi and tvs kept up with everyone and the seating and eating areas were spacious. The more able-bodied among us enjoyed hiking to the lake (it IS hilly!). We all enjoyed the location. We went to Bar Harbor for a day, but appreciated that the mid-Coast was less busy. The one who loves to workout every morning was really impressed with the quality of the three fitness rooms and she took full advantage of them. What a wonderful place to sit back, relax, and explore the mid-coast of Maine. The cabins are actually the way it looks in the pictures!! This is a great compliment. The woodwork inside our three bedroom cabin was wonderful. The place is well equipped for light cooking. We ate all breakfasts in after a quick stop at the supermarket. There is a fire pit, a small grill, lawn chairs, screened in porch with adirondack chairs. It's great just to hang out in the screen in porch and enjoy the great, cool, Maine summer. The check in was contactless. All the instructions were given clearly and right on time. Same with checkout. Ashley was very responsive to all questions emailed to her. The beds were firm and comfortable. There is a electric wood stove if you ever want to use it, and normal central heat and AC. The Roku on the TV is an excellent addition. It allows you to cast from your phone to watch anything you want to that you can access from your phone. You can also log on to your favorite streaming service with your own account. The wifi was fast and reliable. There are trails on-site. We did not have time to explore it but it seems like a wonderful thing to do. Oh, yes, and the unit is clean! Suggestions: More garbage cans in the rooms, more towels for the floor in the bathrooms, pot holder for hot dishes coming out of the oven. Warning: The rooms are NOT soundproof. Even low conversations are clearly heard in the other rooms inside the cabin. Be careful of what you say LOL. All in all, it was a great experience. Highly recommended.…
