We had such a good time at our cabin. It was clean and comfortable. The fireplace was on for us when we arrived and they even put out a dog bowl for our fur baby. We watched movies, played board games and enjoyed family time. It was nice with Covid to look at 4 different walls for a few days! We will be back.

Um, I’m not really sure where to begin on this one but in a nutshell, this place is amazing. My family wanted to do an outside Christmas to keep safe and still have fun. They provided just that. Linda is amazing and got us three cabins that were all in a row. We were able to have a fire that we all could enjoy and it was amazing. The cabins were so amazing and so well equipped and we didn’t need for thing. If I didn’t love my house, I would live here! Thank you Linda and thank you point lookout for letting us have a safe and wonderful family Christmas in these trying times. We can’t wait to come back.

We decide to do a girls weekend with my step daughter & 2 adult granddaughters. We rented the 3 bedroom which was perfect. With the pandemic, we decided to eat most of our meals in which the kitchen was properly stocked with the necessary pots/pans. They texted you when cabin was ready & gave the code to the lock box which had the keys in it. Very relaxing with the propane potbelly stove on for sitting around chatting with glass of wine or two! Great place to take a walk thru the resort or hiking trails. Camden is a cute town on the ocean which is 15 minutes away with stores to browse & places to eat. Would highly recommend.

Leaving NYC for Maine this Summer was an amazing experience and Point Lookout was the perfect safe haven for a temporary reprieve from the pandemic during the time we spent there. The cabins are immaculate, set up for short or long-term stays, and are beautifully situated in Northport, a short drive from Lincolnville, Belfast, and Camden. Hiking trails on the property were an amazing way to commune with nature during our stay and the fresh air, trees, and overall sense of being in the middle of nature were reinvigorating after months quarantining in a NYC apartment. Lastly, the management of Point Lookout (Kim, in particular) could not have been nicer, more friendly or more accommodating. It's an experience we'll never forget and one that will bring us back to Maine, and to Point Lookout in particular, should we have an opportunity for a Maine getaway in the future. Thank you Point Lookout for making our stay with you a wonderful experience!

Lodging is no longer available. New owners sold most of cabins and furnishing. Converting building on top of mountain to private home. Used to be breathtaking view. Cars no longer allowed on road to top. Real loss to the community.
