Wow! What an amazing view! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! I highly recommend to friends and family. Walking distance to the fish ladder and everything local. Very clean and classy. Did I mention they have canoes and kayaks!? Bed and breakfast. Definitely a local treasure.

This place is fabulous as are the owners, Bobby and Sherry. Treated us better than family. Our room was nice and big and very, very clean, comfortable and quiet. Had a nice visit that evening passing around photos and telling stories and a great breakfast in the morning. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. In the morning they pointed us towards great things to see and do. We would have stayed another night but unfortunately they were already booked. They're right on the water of the pond.

Owner treats help like trash, place is unclean, honestly should not be in business. Nothing is cleaned as it should be. THINK TWICE BEFORE STAYING HERE. Disrespectful owner, FAKE, acts like she is nice and cares when really is rude and awful, inconsiderate and selfish. Not worth your money, stay elsewhere ESPECIALLY if you have kids as you’ll be turned away, she hates them!

An obvious attempt at slander from all angles from someone who never stayed at our inn as a guest.... We hope our readers will take the time to read the other 100 reviews that will give you a taste of who we really are and the magical place the mill pond is. Thank you for your time.

Just enjoyed a fantastic weekend at this unique B&B that's nestled into a spectacular garden setting on picturesque Damariscotta Lake. The owners, Bobby and Sherry, are wonderful and were very accommodating to our large Boston family group. They really understand how to treat you like a valued guest, while making you feel right at home. We stayed here years ago and loved it – and this time was no different.. A highlight was the dinner they prepared for us – Maine lobsters and steamers we enjoyed on the lawn picnic tables (i.e., the only way to enjoy fresh shellfish!). Breakfasts were delicious too, especially the blueberry pancakes. Our rooms were super clean and comfortable. The inn’s deck was a great gathering spot for morning coffee, and afternoon drinks. The dock was a perfect spot for relaxing in the Adirondack chairs, diving off into the lake or launching the kayak. And don’t miss seeing the Damariscotta Mills Fish Restoration Ladder a short walk away. Bottom line - we'll be back!

Sherry and Bobby are remarkable hosts who relish sitting with their guests and chatting about New England people and places. They are filled with inside information about their area; e.g., enjoying free oysters Friday afternoons on the pier at Daramiscotta! Great breakfasts.
