I cannot comment on the accommodations but I can on the snowshoe trails. Poorly marked and in need of some serious repair. I get the should be rustic but maybe once in a while run a snowmobile over them to mark them as trails vs logging roads. Or clearly mark the trails with signs you can follow. Beware the trails...

We stayed here for the New England Forest Road Rally for four nights at the Snow Cap Inn. It was terrific. The staff was wonderful, the bed was really comfortable, and the place was spotless and gorgeous.

I stayed at the Sunday River Inn this past Saturday night. The owner was very accomodating and personable. I would definitely stay there again. One of the highlights of my mini ski vacation to Maine/ New Hampshire.

My husband and I stayed fro two nights has he had a Ski Clinic at the nearby Mountain. The room was very clean and comfortable. With reservations in place, all is made up and ready for you upon arrival. Since it is in the same building as the Cross-Country Ski Center, it was very convenient for me to ski the...

I'm a "cost-conscious" traveler and the Sunday River Inn was the perfect place for my needs! My purpose for visiting the area was the skiing, both downhill and cross-country. For a very reasonable price I had a clean room with a comfortable bed. The people there were friendly and professional. The staff was courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay...

My son and I stayed one night in early March so we could go skiing the next day at Sunday River. We wanted to stay as close as possible to the mountain and all we needed is a place to sleep so it was not worth paying the big bucks for the fancy on-mountain lodging. The location is ideal. It's...

I arrived late in the day and the room was not made up. I was given a room in a small cabin for 8 to which there was no shoveled or plowed access and the owner himself fell and hurt himself while going to do what turned out to be a horrific excuse of making up the room after the...

My boyfriend booked this room last minute so could go up the night before we were supposed to check in at the Grand Summit Resort so we could ski the next morning, but save some money. We got to the Sunday River Inn and waited 45 minutes before anyone showed up to check us in. The website that my boyfriend...

The Inn was clean and welcoming. There were two great fireplaces to sit in front of. They have a ping-pong table and billiards to use on your downtime. The man-made hot tub was impressive. Our room, though decorated with 70s style, was cute and charming and again very clean. the home-made meals were fantastic. My boyfriend and I ate like...

“Book at one of the other places that has a little higher price or be sure to check trip advisor and try the Nordsman Inn or ski and stay packages that might be a little more but totally worth it. This rat hole is a flop house for ski area employees. A party every night. Not so great for someone who is looking to relax and enjoy a stay away from home no matter what the price. T STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!! I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH !!!! WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED AND I HAVE STAYED IN SOME PRETTY ROUGH PLACES AND THIS PLACE TOOK THE CAKE IN CRAPPY LODGING, LOUSY SERVICE AND COMFORT ALL AROUND DISASTER. NOT TO MENTION BUGS !!!! THE OWNER IS A REAL JERK TO PUT IT MILDLY AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT CURSING A BLUE STREAK. The only reason I put a terrible in my over all review is because there arent negative or lower ratings available.”
