My husband and I spent 2 nights in mid September at this wonderful B&B. Our room was on the second floor facing the river and gardens and had lots of natural light. It was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully served with many food options. The location was close to shops and restaurants, situated right on the river, which... More

The Inn is lovely with a very charming inn keeper. It is within walking distance of Damariscotta with it's wonderful shops and restaurants. It is on the river and there are common rooms and outdoor space that are right on the rifver (lovely). The owner is onsite and is very helpful as well as having a great team to serve... More

We loved our stay at Newcastle Inn. Julie was welcoming, and our room was clean, well furnished and relaxing. We enjoyed the sunroom that is one of the common areas. Breakfast was delicious - and they had fantastic coffee. Each morning we ate breakfast on the back deck while looking out at a beautiful view of the water. There is... More

The inn is right on the Damariscotta River with great views. Our room was Tenants Harbor, named after one of the lighthouses in Maine. You can walk to town from the inn if you don't mind walking about 10 minutes or so. The inn is good sized with a TV room, a pub, a sunroom for working on a jigsaw... More

Newcastle Inn is great place to stay, with a view of the Damariscotta river, and great location to visit surrounding towns. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast on the outside deck was very enjoyable. The staff was A- one and the owner, Julie was the best. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay at the Newcastle Inn. We chose this inn because it's one of the few in the area that have chargers for electric vehicles. My wife and I had no reservations when we went to Newcastle, Maine recently on vacation; after being turned away at one (fully booked) location, we found the Newcastle Inn. It was beautiful and quiet, on the water, with helpful staff. We were delighted with our stay there. We can't recommend them highly enough.
