Very rude management, did not honor campsite we had select & offered site on side of road (we have small children) We had called the day before & they lied to us confirming that the site was available. Very rude manager (blamed owner separation for poor record keeping) & over booking...sites were also very small & not at all like...

Several friends and I stayed in a cabin here for two nights to do some hiking in Acadia. We stayed in Starfish, which has a water view. The cabin was very clean and we really appreciated that it had electricity. We were a little far from the bath house, but not too bad - about a three or four minute...

Stayed with 2 daughters (8 and 13) plus mother (aged 93). We had a nice experience. The girls loved the heated pool and that was one of the reasons I booked here to give the girls a fun activity for those many hours when we were not out touring Mount Desert Island. And I found that what the girls liked...

Nice campground with waterfront area, onsite pool, quarry (paddleboating only), bath house and outhouses. Nice sites with good fire pits and wooded areas. Quiet and family friendly. Affordable and well run campground.

The location of the campground was perfect for seeing Bar Harbor etc, but is way more friendly for tenters not trailers. I picked the site I did cause it said quarry and mountain view but there was always someone in the spot in front of the quarry so our only view was of them. No dump station and water pressure...

Pros: 1. Very shaded area with access to the sound. 2. Great place for tent camping Cons 1. You have to pay for showers. $1 for 5 minutes of Luke warm water 2. Showers are filthy. We were there for 11 days and they weren't cleaned. 3. Upper loop has hair pin turn making it difficult to get an rv...

Nine of us stayed four nights here in July. Between us all, we had two tent sites (20 & 21) and one cabin (starfish). The sites were great and definitely spacious and private enough. The cabin was small as expected but was very clean and just right. It has a water view (a lot of trees obstructing though) and is...

Great place close to everything. Affordable nightly rates. Space between sites. Easy check in. Bath house was clean. Didn't use the pool but appeared clear and was being used. Quiet location with water access. Only complaint would be low water pressure but we were at the top and it still did the trick.

We had a great time during our stay in the campground. We camped with an RV and it worked out excellent. Some sites were pretty close together, however they remained private due to trees and rocks. The bath houses seemed updated recently and were usually very clean. The pool was warm and clean, and the dock area was excellent. As...

We stayed during the labor day weekend. The sites were too small and very close to each other compared to other campgrounds. Bathrooms were not cleaned during our 3 day stay. No paper towels and soap in the bathrooms, out of 3 showers, couple of them didnt work. The campground staff is not available from 6pm until 8 am or...
