Campground is very clean, great service, friendly front desk. Has a pool: it was great to come at the end of a hiking day to dip in the pool with the kids. RV was very comfortable. Lots of dogs, lovely!

The campground was very clean and well taken care of and the staff was exceptional! We were tent camping and it was so nice having a full sink outside of the bath houses to do our dishes in. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful place and very quiet this time of year. Took a moose tour with Wendy, was very enjoyable even though we didn’t see a moose. Wendy is very knowledgeable and obviously loves the area and what she does. Clean restrooms and showers and a nice laundry room.

So this was our second camping adventure and it certainly made up for the first one. Stayed at a KOA the first time and it was very commercial and not what I would call friendly at all. Wilderness Edge was the complete opposite. We were greeted by Wendi and made an immediate connection. The entire staff Wendi, Marcel and the others made me, my wife and the dogs feel very comfortable. The sites are very wooded and feel large and private. Our site was very clean when we arrived. While there we took many walks with the dogs and 'all' the non-occupied sites were the same. We did not bring our ATV but the area seems to be a great place to ride. We took a few day rides and saw some beautiful places. If you stay at Wilderness a ride down part of the Golden Road is a must. I have already mentioned going back and bringing more of the family. Thanks again for a great stay.

My husband, 2 of our dogs and myself stayed here at Wilderness Edge campground for a week. The campground is absolutely stunning and the sites are all well kept and beautiful- not too mention they feel quite private ! I love that you don’t see every single camper in the campground as you do with most campgrounds. There are beautiful nature trees and it gives the feel of a friendly neighborhood of visitors. They were extremely helpful - gave us a shuttle to Baxter Stare Park so we could hike Katahdin - our pull vehicle is a dually and was too big for the roads in Baxter State Park. Wendi, one of the owners shuttled us in and picked us up and it was wonderful and we were so thankful. They also gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area - we ended up in a seaplane flying over Katahdin ! It was beautiful! They also offer moose excursions and other activities! They are extremely dog friendly and we will be back to visit again! I highly recommend this campground, you won’t be disappointed !

Great campground with very helpful and friendly staff. There was a pool and playground if coming with family, but we were there alone and appreciated just relaxing at the site. We took an RV and had plenty of room in our site. We also took our side by side and the trail head was very close, and lots of trails! The owners were very informative and we would highly recommend it and will definitely go back.

The staff were friendly and informative. We had an individual wooded campsite and were happy to have laundry facilities. The location was convenient to the parks and bountiful hiking and atv trails. Didn’t use the pool as we preferred the streams in the mountains, but our kids enjoyed the playground. Bring your bug gear!!

Friendly owners, cleanest bathrooms and showers I have ever seen at ANY campground, easy access to BSP, amazing ATV tours and access to seeing Moose, very convenient and close enough to town yet far enough away to be super quiet! A great atmosphere for the entire family with lots to do! The pool was super clean and much appreciated due to the heat. My favorite place to stay in the north country!

First time at this campground - we thoroughly enjoyed it and booked for next year before leaving. Marcel, Wendy, Denise, Dale and staff are fun, friendly and helpful. Well maintained campground and beautiful area to enjoy. We enjoyed Moose excursion and what fun was had on the ATV ride. Our tour guide, Ernie was the best and so knowledgeable of the area. What a fun week stay we had!! Can't wait to see them again and hoping to bring more camper friends next season.
