First, be aware that there is NO POOL at this motel, despite the fact that it is advertised as having one and the picture of the motel that would suggest an indoor pool. So if you want a pool and/or hot tub, there are none. The staff was very nice and the room was clean. However, the door to an... More

Located in the beautiful Katahdin area. Near lake and mountain activities. Visiting this area for a family gathering. Reasonably priced, comfortable bed. Clean room, friendly staff, not fancy but good value.

The motel is showing its age. The bathrooms are in serious need of refurbishment, the bedding was ok, but the box spring had questionable stains on it. The breakfast which was included in the cost of the room was an adequate continental breakfast offering belgium waffles, cereals and pastries, coffee, tea, milk and orange juice. The cost of the room... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here the night before and the night after we hiked Katahdin. This was the only reasonably priced hotel in the area and while it was outdated, it was very clean. I was also really impressed by the fact that the room came with a mini fridge, coffee pot, iron/ironing board, and blowdryer because I have... More

It's a basic motel. Nothing fancy but comfortable, clean and affordable. Best of all it has direct access to snowmobile trails. Rooms have two doors, one that leads to an interior hallway and one to the outside. Park your snowmobile right in front of your door... perfect. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They make you feel right at home.

Decent hotel for the price point. There isn't much in this town and this hotel does offer a clean room and a fair rate. You won't leave with any wow factor but it's clean. I travel a lot for work and from the roadside this is not a place I would typically choose to stay but you could do far... More

The Pamola Motor Lodge is a great motel for the price. Nice clean rooms which were well equipped. Does not normally come with a micro or refrigerator, but if you ask both will be put into the room at no extra charge. Free continental breakfast for the hearty eater. Staff is very nice and friendly. Their knowledge of the area... More

Checked in late and had to go to the bar - which was very nice. Met the owner and although we were tired and needed a shower she took the time to show me the room and I gave it the ok. My wife was too tired to even come in, and after staying at another hotel up the street... More

OK so this is the cheapest hotel available if you are going to Baxter State Park. You're in the middle of Maine and, if you're like me, you just drove a significant distance. You'll be up early to get to the trail head before the rangers give away your reserved spot too. So crash here! You're not looking for the... More

Needed to stay in Millinocket to be able to get an early start on hiking Mount Katahdin in Baxter State Park. I know many people would just camp, but I had been on the road prior and needed a bed. This place is located near the entrance to the state park, making it a suitable place to stay. Clean enough...... More
