My husband and I stayed at the Ice Fish Inn for 2 nights while we visited Baxter state park to hike Mt. Katahdin. The Inn is located several miles from park but it is pretty much one of the closest places to stay. Not too many options in this small town. We stayed in the "chicken room". The room and... More

We stayed here recently and thought it was a wonderful small inn. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful. Several friendly pets too! The room we stayed in was clean, modern and very comfortable. Very quiet and a great place to stay at a reasonable price. Check out the The AT Trail Cafe around the corner for a hearty breakfast or... More

This is not a B&B. Did have coffee in the morning. We had a room upstairs with private bath, frig, tv and it met our needs for 1 night. Upon arriving the sign post for the inn needs to be painted as well as front steps, door bell did not work and covered front porch need some sprucing up as... More

The Ice Fish Inn is a charming old inn located in the heart of Maine's great outdoors. Millinocket is the starting point for adventures in Baxter State Park and Mt. Katahdin. The rooms are clean and well kept, and the owners are great hosts! Highly recommended for all seasons.

This is a great inexpensive place to stay in Millinocket. Easy to get to & close to downtown. Clean and comfortable lodging with great staff. Lots of small incidentals that you don't get in many other places.

Shoot. I am way delinquent on writing this review! I stayed here last summer and had a very pleasant couple of nights in Millinocket. Catie and Sean are friendly hosts and they run a clean and tidy house. I believe I stayed in the Map Room and it was quite a bit larger than I needed as a single traveler.... More

Thank you for the nice review. Just a note for those reading it: we have changed our business model since the time that this reviewer stayed at our inn. We no longer do the breakfast vouchers and in general, no longer include breakfast but we have kept all the other amenities. As a result, we have substantially cut our rates.... More

The Ice Fish Inn met our needs very nicely. Owners Catie and Sean were super nice and the bonus for us was their dog Cornelia. Our room (#3) was beyond excellent. It had 2 queen size beds great mattress and fresh clean smelling linens. A nice bathroom with a shower and again with the fresh smelling heavy duty towels. A... More

For the small town atmosphere and hiking needs it was comfortable. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and nice bedding. The basket of toiletries and stocked refrigerator was a super plus. Having nice coffee and available latte for early morning was also a huge perk. The inn keepers were helpful too. If you don't like pets or pet smells, I... More

We stayed here for two nights to hike Mt. Katahdin. The inn itself is cute, comfortable and clean, but nothing spectacular. However, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and have thought of everything to make your stay better. They stocked our mini fridge with soda and drinks, they have travel cups to take your coffee with you, they have... More

We stayed here in mid October when the low temps and snow made us chicken out of camping in Baxter state park. It's a 30 minute drive into the park so easily accessible. The town itself is rural but has several eating options. You won't get haute cuisine here but you can do worse than Schoodic Inn for supper. The... More
