I had the unfortunate experience of making a reservation for two for a one night stay while the owners were away on vacation. I would like to preface my complaint with the fact that I do believe the lodge is probably a lovely place to stay, I’m sure we would have greatly

Just a few facts regarding this "review". Debbie & I were on vacation outside of the country from November 14th until December 2nd. For the last five years we have had a retired couple ( now 79 & 83 years old) watch the lodge and our dog Sammy while we are away. The wonderful and lovely lady mistakenly took the one night reservation for July 14th on 11/28. When we got home on the evening of 12/2 we found out about the reservation and Debbie called Rachel the next morning to tell her that we don't accept one night reservations. Debbie also told her about different lodging facilities in the area that do take "one nighters". She said that she was not interested in any other facility in the Katahdin Region and was very upset. Later that day she called back and told us that unless we took her one night reservation she would make a negative TripAdvisor review. Even though Debbie apologized profusely about the mistake that our "innsitter" made we are not going to change our rules about one night reservations during the peak season.

I highly recommend this lodge. Great breakfast? Very comfy rooms. Hosts make you feel right at home. Will come back. The lodge was very conveniently located near Acadia National Park. We were there at the peak color. Absolutely beautiful.

Just completed 5 relaxing days here. Have traveled extensively and this is by far the best B and B we have experienced. The host Rick and Debbie are the best. Rick is an encyclopedia of knowledge on things to do. It is like having your own personal tour guide. He provided maps

My wife and I stayed for our 10th anniversary and hiked Mount Katahdin. We arrived late but Debbie greeted us and showed us to our room. We were leaving to hike early the next morning, so she had pre-made delicious egg sandwiches and homemade granola bars for us to bring and eat

Hi, We are 7 miles from the Town of Millinocket. In the area there are at least a dozen places to have dinner and on the way to/from Baxter State Park there are three more dining places. Believe us, food is not an issue around here. The quality is high and the price is low!
