We called ahead and had a room held for us which was nice. The check-in was a bit cold but efficient. It was late so I can appreciate that. However, I didn't notice until later that we were charged US65 but the web site says US60. The room was spacious and very clean with the exception of the carpet. The...

This is a convenient place to stay when we are visiting relatives. It is very clean, the staff is friendly, the beds are comfortable, wifi signal was strong, has a/c... And Al's Diner is across the street. Will definitely go back.

We came to Mars Hill for the first time and needed a place to stay. We found Bear Paw Inn and stayed for two nights. Very nice smaller room that had everything we needed. Lots of electrical outlets were a surprise. The wifi was hard to get connected. They have a Linksys router that is not user friendly with its...

A business trip with my husband brought us through Mars Hill. This motel is the only one in town. The motel is very basic. The room was large, very clean, and had a bit of character - a pine wreath, bear headboards and quilts for bedspreads. The bathroom was spacious (shower only, no tub), the linens were decent quality and...

Pleasant staff. Shower, a/c, and TV worked fine. WiFi didn't work much of the time. Room had an unpleasant smell, which they said they would attend to. I believe it so, if it works for your convenience, go ahead. Restaurant across the street.

Very surprised at how modern and clean the rooms are. Much lower priced than places in Presque Isle that aren't as nice. If anything a bit too clean. Heavy smell of bleach everyday. Loved going to the desk and finding no one around just a cell phone number. When we called it the owner said " Oh yes, I'll be...

We stayed in 3 rooms with our family of 10 so that we could climb Mars Hill for sunrise. The people at the motel were very accommodating, and the rooms are large and reasonable. The carpet and bedding are old, and even though there were many signs saying no smoking in the rooms, the rooms smelled very strongly of stale...

We stayed there because there was a death in the family. We wanted to be in town an close to be with family. Not pet friendly, even though the family that owns its lives there and runs it have a big dog. Thin walls and floors! Loud with all the traffic an big trucks always going by. We had room...

I found nothing special about this hotel. The live-in caretaker was fine, but not overly helpful. The room was clean but small. The walls are thin. Overall it was fine but like i said, where else are you going to stay?

The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are huge. You can walk accross the street for breakfast in the morning before heading out, which is convenient. The only draw backs to the rooms are that there is no counter space, and unlike a hotel no coffee makers or even irons are provided in the...
