Our stay here was refreshing. The rooms have been recently renovated, & while small, they are adorable. The only downside is the property is across from a trailer park. But, the bed was comfortable, & the bathroom had radiant heat in the floor. Nicely decorated.

Room itself was better than expected when we arrived in the parking lot. Front desk person was not exactly warm and fuzzy. Room had a really strong odor of heavy citrus and something else. It permeated the sheets and anything else we had in the room. We did not stay for the morning breakfast.

This was a charming surprise! The room was extremely updated. The bed was very comfortable and there was a Keurig coffee maker as well as a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom even had heated floors. Breakfast was great. Be sure to try the blueberry syrup. The staff did a wonderful job of accommodating us on a busy weekend. The Inn... More

Seem from the Hwy 1, it looks like any other motel. Once you enter your room, it's a whole other story. You'll find a nice comfy cocoon, with a eye for details. You'll forget about the fact that you are in a motel along the highway. The can very well be a room is a fancy hotel. The bed is... More

As manager for Sons of the American Revolution participation in Margaretta Days in Machis, the Margaretta Inn was the idea spit. I ha stayed at the inn several times and have been pleased every time - nice rooms, attentive staff. I will be returning.

Simple, immaculately clean hotel right off the highway. Very friendly, helpful service. Very good complimentary breakfast. Room is slightly tight with little storage space. Would definitely return if in the area.

Never judge a book by it's cover! Beautiful and friendly accommodations! We used the inn as a base for traveling to Eastpor, Quoddy, Lubec and Campobello. Awesome area and need I say it "Lobstah"! Make a reservation, you will not be disappointed. Clean, new, and comfy!

Love the cleanliness and simplicity of the furnishings. The beds are some of the most comfortable I've encountered and I am a huge Marriott Hotel bed fan! Room has everything one needs for a comfortable stay! And considering the cold Maine winters, the heated bathroom floor was a most considerate inclusion for guests! The hosts are warm and friendly and... More
