My wife and I returned to Glenmoor by the Sea again this year and I thought they couldn't get better than last year but they did. With the Covid thing going on they figured out how to make things better. The check in was easy and painless with reservations, maps, keys placed out, breakfast was brought to the cabins in a basket each morning by a very friendly gentleman. I had asked to get some wine, and soda and they had it sitting out with glasses when I went up to the office. The units are clean and nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable. We had friends pick us up and they were equally impressed to the point they are planning on staying there next year as well. Over all a great little place. Thanks and see you next year.
We stayed in one of the ocean view cottages. It was clean, bright and comfortable, with a great view of the water. We loved sitting out on the porch (although an awning or umbrella for some shade would have been nice). The staff were very friendly and careful about Covid-19 protocols. Even with most of the cottages occupied, it never felt crowded because the grounds are so large. All in all, would highly recommend!
I had researched places to stay in the area and decided on the Glenmoor, and I was more than pleased. We did not have ocean front but did have a view. If you walk down to the water , there is a staircase to the beach and it has a little deck with patio set, we sat with a bottle of wine and just relaxed listening to the ocean. Our cabin must have just been remodeled, it felt brand new with a sitting area, small kitchenette and fabulous jacuzzi tub bathroom , and a step up to a nice king bed. It also had a deck with table and chairs. Breakfast was delivered to the room, because of COVID , yogurt, scones, fruit and pot of coffee, perfect. The grounds are huge with games and a big fire pit, two pools and tennis court. The only bad thing I can say is we only stayed 1 night, would love to go back and really explore the area. Celladoor winery is wonderful. I think our cabin was #23, …
Spent a relaxing 4 nights in an oceanfront cottage. Our partial view to the sound was lovely, even through two rows of other cottages. Cottages are well spaced on the hill to provide a glimpse of the water for all. My 6 year old loved the rocky beach, swimming pool, lawn games, and tasting her first fire-roasted smores. Very clean. Yummy huge scone, egg, yogurt, fruit, oj, and coffee breakfast delivered to the porch each morning. Good COVID-19 protocols. Unusually comfy bed and sleep sofa. Friendly staff.
I was here for a week with my wife and kids. We stayed in one of the motel rooms. The room was spacious and clean. They bring breakfast and coffee to your room on a daily basis. My kids loved the playground, pool and exploring the grounds. We cooked dinner a few nights one on of their grills. After dinner there was a camp fire and smores were provided. The owner and staff were all super nice and accomdating.
