My wife and I returned to Glenmoor by the Sea again this year and I thought they couldn't get better than last year but they did. With the Covid thing going on they figured out how to make things better. The check in was easy and painless with reservations, maps, keys placed out, breakfast was brought to the cabins in a basket each morning by a very friendly gentleman. I had asked to get some wine, and soda and they had it sitting out with glasses when I went up to the office. The units are clean and nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable. We had friends pick us up and they were equally impressed to the point they are planning on staying there next year as well.
Over all a great little place. Thanks and see you next year.

This resort met all our needs and we were glad we chose it, as it was slightly north of the craziness in downtown Camden and was in a peaceful location. We enjoyed relaxing on the waterfront deck and watching the boat traffic in the straight between Lincolnville and Isleboro,
We had a king room on the second floor of the Main House with a nice large bathroom. There was a deck going across the back of the building, which offered water views. If you needed 2 or 3 rooms and chose this location, the 3 deck/balconies all adjoin, which would be fun. The unit next to us was a 2 BR 1.5 bath unit. Breakfast was delivered to us at the time we specified and consisted of warm scones both days we stayed, hot carafe of coffee, boiled eggs, yogurt parfait, fresh fruit, orange juice. A very hearty start to the day.
We would stay here again. Lobby was not accessible to guests and not sure if
exercise room was open, as it wasn't mentioned. Thanks Glenmoor.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite in the Inn for 4 nights during the North Atlantic Blues Festival. The rooms were spacious and each had its own bathroom. We had a table and 4 chairs on our own private corner deck overlooking a somewhat distant ocean. A glorified continental breakfast was deliverd to our rooms. It included a large pot of hot delicous coffee, homemade scones (the best I ever had), yogart parfait with granola mix, egg, juice and assorted fresh fruits. The weekend breakfast was extra special!!! The entire property has a resort feel to it, offering a tennis court, 2 heated pools, a variety of lawn games, sprawling lawns heading to ocean, a community fire pit offering everything to make smores, ice machines located throughout the property. The staff were very accommodating and immediately responded to any requests. When I return I hope to stay in one of the lovely cottages right on the ocean. This place is truly a gem!

My husband & I made this a family destination vacation and met up with family from California and Maine here. We all had our own cabins and we enjoyed our stay. The place is so clean and cared for. The family that operates the site is amazing and they prepare incredible breakfasts, maintain beautiful flower beds, keep the rooms and grounds impeccable, plan fun social activities, and go the extra mile. There are decks on the cabins, swimming pool, fire pit, volleyball, waterside views and so much more. We were close to sights and shopping in Lincolnville and Belfast but really enjoyed that Lobsterfest most of all. We've been visiting Maine for 30+ years, but this was the vest find and it made our family vacation the best ever!

Wow! Thank you so much for such a lovely review. We are so happy you enjoyed yourselves here at Glenmoor. While everything here is a team effort, credit for the flower beds go to Jacquelyne and Betsy. True green thumbs! We love what we do and are thrilled you took such notice. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Spent 2 nights at the end of the season visiting family in Camden, Maine, a 10 minute ride. This was also during the plague which effected things.

This is a motel/cottage/house family resort located on a large wooded plot of land on the coast where you can walk down to the shore line. There are a few cottages there at the shore line, whereas the other accommodations are nearer the entry of the property. The property is on U.S. Route 1 and yet very quiet. It is very picturesque.

There are large open spaces with some lawn games, novelty playsets for children and an outdoor pool.

Service was light as they were keeping staff away from guests as much as possible. Normally a breakfast buffet is provided but during plague times they provide a boxed breakfast at the door. It was delivered when specified and surprisingly good.

Our suite was in good repair and the beds were very good. In the main room was a chaise lounge which while looking exotic, was incredibly uncomfortable and was the only seating for that room's TV (note to management - ditch the lounge and bring in 2 side chairs)

I recommend staying here or at least giving it a good hard look.

Thank you for staying with us and thank you for your feedback! We are continuously updating the property and happy to report we are looking to replace the chaise lounger with two new chairs soon. Every year we upgrade our cottages from new mattresses, paved walkways, sleep sofas to new carpeting and flooring. We hope you come back to see the updates we have already completed! Thank you again for your feedback!

After staying in two of the ocean front cottages last July, my family and I kept repeating over and over, "this is heaven." It really is. The view is breathtaking from every vantage point on the property, and the cottages felt like home and were simply immaculate. The private decks with adirondack chairs and a small table became our go to spots to take in the stunning views. But what made our stay even more special were the owners, who are simply the best. We quickly were made to feel like one of the family. We highly recommend Glenmoor by the Sea!

This was our second time staying here and won’t be the last. We stayed in upper cottage23. The cottage is so cute and spotless with a great jacuzzi tub and a view. There is a small deck attached with table and chairs, you can see the ocean from here. Breakfast is a basket delivered to your room because of COVID, but they were right on time with a full carafe of coffee, fruit, small egg frittata and cinnamon bread one day parfait day 2. The grounds are so well kept and absolutely beautiful. Only issue we had were local restaurants, only 3 and at least 1 closed each night , mostly overpriced fried seafood and long lines. Dots sandwich and bakery is great, unfortunately it was closed on Monday. Not sure if COVID is reason, no help, but cannot understand how a summer spot can close when you only have 2 good months, and McLaughlin’s closed on SUNDAY.

I had researched places to stay in the area and decided on the Glenmoor, and I was more than pleased. We did not have ocean front but did have a view. If you walk down to the water , there is a staircase to the beach and it has a little deck with patio set, we sat with a bottle of wine and just relaxed listening to the ocean. Our cabin must have just been remodeled, it felt brand new with a sitting area, small kitchenette and fabulous jacuzzi tub bathroom , and a step up to a nice king bed. It also had a deck with table and chairs. Breakfast was delivered to the room, because of COVID , yogurt, scones, fruit and pot of coffee, perfect. The grounds are huge with games and a big fire pit, two pools and tennis court. The only bad thing I can say is we only stayed 1 night, would love to go back and really explore the area. Celladoor winery is wonderful. I think our cabin was #23,

This is one of those gems that once there, you think to yourself, ‘boy, I’m lucky I found this place’. For 4 nights we stayed in a room on the second floor of the building just past the check-in building. The room was spacious with exposed wooden beams in the ceiling and a huge bathroom with marble like floor.

Each morning, breakfast was delivered to our door consisting of one hot item (mostly yummy frittatas), bakery, fruit, orange juice and coffee.

For our last night, we switched to a cottage that included a gas fireplace.

The yard is expansive! Areas have been set up for frisbee golf, corn hole, etc. A view of the ocean can be seen from much of the property. There is a gravel road through the property that leads to the stairs that take you to the rocky beach below. There are also two pools.

The location is close to Camden, Rockport & Rockland.

I would definitely stay here again. Heck, if one of the cottages were for sale, I would love to buy it.

We wished we had more time here! Our large cabin was immaculately clean and had a very pretty view of the bay. Watching the big full moon come up in the evenings and hearing the lapping of the water on the beach was a calming way to unwind. The grounds are very well kept, pride of ownership is evident and the amenities like fire-pits and disc golf are thoughtful. And breakfast.... yummy indeed! Kudos for figuring out a great way to serve guests at this crazy time and not just give it up like so many hotels. I looked forward to the knock on the door and anxiously opened the contents of the basket. Each day there was a different variety of egg frittata and muffins along with juice, fresh fruit and a carafe of really good coffee. And we got to enjoy it all overlooking the bay. Thanks for a great stay; it was just what we needed!

When I stayed there in June 2016, I was in one of 4 oceanfront cottages. There were 2 different renters in the cottage next to me and they both had LARGE dogs.
