Clean, lovely, professionally managed accommodations in Kittery, ME, just a few minutes walk from the happening downtown of Portsmouth, NH. Absolutely loved the bedrooms. The beds were really comfortable and bedding beautiful. The breakfasts were outstanding. Both my sisters have food allergies and their breakfasts were as outstanding as ours. Also, if you like to meet other travellers and share... More

Loved Portsmouth and the Inn was the cherry on the cake! Loved the location-walking distance to Portsmouth's main square. The freshly baked cookies, evening cordials and cozy sitting areas were so charming. Loved our room (bear claw tub, anyone?) and the breakfast the next day was awesome. Really scrumptious. Loved having water readily available and centrally located to all rooms.... More

Quaint old house with a European feel and the cutest old doorbells I've ever seen. I stayed in the Alice bedroom which was adorably charming, with a nice view of the water from the skylight as a fun bonus surprise! Breakfast was delicious (I was called before hand to check in on any dietary restrictions, and they were more than... More

We greatly enjoyed our stay. We had a nice room with a comfortable bed. I greatly enjoyed the tub and spent much time relaxing in it. While we didn't partake in the breakfast as we were in great need of sleeping in, the Inn-keep was very kind and helpful. With such a short walk to Portsmouth (though a bit windy... More

My wife and I stayed during, unbeknown to us, Portsmouth Restaurant Week. This inn while in Kittery is literally a 15 minute walk right into downtown Portsmouth. The innkeeper had great restaurant recommendations and she filled us in on other happenings during our weekend stay. The breakfasts were top notch and it's obvious that the innkeeper cares about serving a... More

We were able to stay here after a cancellation had occurred. We were very happy that we were able to stay here. The inn is a lovely old home that is immaculate. Our room was very comfortable with seating for two and a king bed. We left our vehicle here and walked in to Portsmouth which is helpful as parking... More

Charming old home near the river, walking distance from the bridge to Portsmouth. The owner/innkeeper, Lynn is caring and attentive. She takes pride in her breakfast and serves all guests @ a common table, making for nice conversation. She'll provide you with a plethora of info on the area & directions to attractions, restaurants, etc. Bed was the best one... More

Portsmouth is very quaint. It has lots of places to eat and lots of shopping and local artisans. You can walk across the bridge into Portsmouth and avoid parking. We never had trouble finding parking it is metered so bring your coins. Strawberry Museum is a must see. The Harbor Inn is a bed and breakfast. The rooms are great,... More

We stay at Portsmouth Harbor Inn and Spa every Columbus Day weekend. The location is convenient to downtown Portsmouth, numerous good restaurants, the Kittery Outlet Mall, Hiking at Mount Agamenticus, viewing the changing of the fall colors, and a short day trip to Salem. The inn itself is beautiful, historic and nicely appointed. Each room is a gem and we... More
