We are kind of 50-50 on B&B's. Some are wonderful, some are iffy. But they are usually affordable and include breakfast. Enchanted Nights falls into the middle, toward the really nice, mostly because of the owners, Peter La Mandia and his wife, who are personable, caring and available. We read some of the other reviews, and we are mystified that... More

We stayed here because there were no other available rooms in the area. It was terrifying. Like everyone says the rooms are straight out of a hoarders episode and the smell is too much to take. Our room had no ac and it was sooo hot. We were in constant fear that someone would break in and found a hole... More

Bringing a sense of adventure to every B&B stay brings joy and fun. This little charmer is unique, friendly and peaceful. Every corner is interesting with imaginative twists and turns. Our comfort was well thought out. We loved our stay and will happily return. Thank you Peter and Nancy for your warm hospitality and yummy healthy breakfasts.

There is a lot of STUFF in the rooms. It's cluttered, not quant. There was a mix up with our room, so the room we had originally booked wasn't available. We wound up staying in a room with a queen bed and a day bed. The bathroom didn't even have a door. Just a curtain to separate it from the... More

Listen, when that couple your friends with gushes about some place they stayed at, you nod and smile because you are surely bored to tears. Sure, it sounds nice, you're glad they had a good time. But their tale just gels together with every other wonderful place and your eyes glaze over and you wait for your turn to talk.... More

If you would like to stay at a place that should be on hoarders, this is the place for you.We foolishly booked this place off the smart phone because we just needed a place to sleep on the way home. What a mistake. This place is creepy, overpriced and just downright disgusting. I was afraid to sleep there. It was... More

Each room at this bed and breakfast was packed with things. Each room had a theme. The room that I stayed in was the Princess Room. There is NO air conditioning, but they did have a portable fan that was placed in front of the window which was used to blow air in. It was so hot and humid that... More

I agree with all the other "terrible" ratings. I can't believe this was$200/night! We just stayed in a gorgeous B&B in Bar Harbor for that price. I feel like I've been robbed. The only thing good was the location... in walking distance to Portsmouth, NH, where I had a couple of glasses of wine so that I would be able... More

I had a great experience at The Enchanted Nights B&B. The cottage was a great place to stay and felt very private. Peter was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The B&B was close to local restaurants as well as Portsmouth, NH. I would definitely recommend this B&B to friends and family.

Enchanted Nights B&B is not your typical inn or Bed & Breakfast, with quirky and cluttered Victorian decor and curiosities filling every room. But it was a comfortable, friendly and convenient place to stay, with friendly proprietors and good breakfasts. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and attractive. The location was very convenient to Portsmouth and other nearby... More
