We stayed here years ago when it was great, a second time maybe 8-10 years ago when it was ok. This last time however convinced us that this Inn is well past its best before date. Rooms are run down, noisy, which was always a problem, and there is a feeling that you are sort of on your own, no... More

This was our 11th year at SugarLoaf to ski and now that kids are not with us we decided to try the Sugar Loaf Inn. Great ski in ski out location next to the Snubber chair. This is the original Inn On the mountain so it is old. But we were pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the beds in... More

One of the things I like about this hotel is that its away from the noise. At the Bottom of the bunny slope with a bar and restaurant called the shipyard. Its a relaxing hotel, several sitting areas so you have areas outside of your room to utilize, ski lockers that ear easily accessible. There are no elevators, so yes... More

The best thing about this hotel is the restaurant on site. The Shipyard restaurant was great but the hotel was less than average. For over $200 a night we never had any maid service nor did it have a view. The building is made of wood so you coul hear everything from the other guests. The room is small. It... More

We have been going to Sugarloaf since the 80's and have never stayed at the Inn until this week. We had an awesome view of the mountain, better ski in / ski out than the Sugarloaf Hotel. The Inn is a bit old but was clean. Our room was compact but suited us fine. No elevator. Good value, I will... More

My wife and I decided to go to Sugarloaf this weekend since we both had monday off and we both enjoy skiing/snowboarding. First lets start with the hotel. Granted we went with the Sugarloaf Inn, since it was cheaper. The Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel looked a lot nicer, but was also a lot more expensive per night. Let me be clear,... More

This is the bargain on-slope accommodation at the Loaf. It's a bit old but well maintained and clean. The rooms are good for a short stay with small hotel room layout (I had room 200) but a good deal of storage for clothes. A bit sparse for electric outlets. wifi across the area has good coverage but weak bandwidth -... More

This hotel is trying to cut corners. I had a midweek package .(ski lift and room ) . I knew the hotel, so I was careful to have a room on the right wing upstairs away from the lounge ( music on week end) It turns out that room 211 is probably the best room in the hotel, spacious, with... More

I stayed in Rm 105 which was located in the basement beside a keg cooler room that sounded like it had a compressor, that ran constantly. In all fairness, I was forewarned by booking that the room would be loud at times. I brought earplugs but they didn't do the job of quieting all the noise. The room was under... More

Rooms 100-106 are in the basement under the bar. It can get very loud and they vaccuum the bar starting at 6:00 am. The sheets smelled musty, I must have been the first person to use the room this season. Otherwise the room was spaceous and comfortable; free Wi-Fi and the channel selection was good.
