We stayed here on a roadtrip through Maine. The resort is perfectly located just outside the bustling tourist area of Kennebunkport, and offers a free shuttle for their guests. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and genuinely seem to care about their guests' experience. Our room was spacious, clean and well-appointed. We appreciated the welcome treats and card in our room. The breakfast buffet was excellent and offered a variety of fresh and local items to please everyone.
We have stayed at the Nonantum the same weekend in June for the last 5 years. I am absolutely speechless for the same 5 star service we receive year after year. The area is some of the most stunning and the rooms are impeccable. We are already reserved again next year in ‘our’ room and count down the days to next June. Thank you for making our anniversary weekend amazing- year after year. 💜
My husband and I were married at the Nonantum eleven years ago. We now visit Kennebunkport every summer with our children. This year we tried the kids club. We dropped them off at the activities tent where they were served a kids dinner and activities for two hours. We never get babysitters and can probably count on one hand the times we have had dinner alone without children. We were able to drop them off and have dinner at the pool with no hesitation. We could see them while we dined. The counselors were fantastic. The Nonantum is so comfortable and lovely. My kids did not want to leave. Neither did we!
My sister and I stayed at the Nonantum Resort in June 2022. The staff was friendly and the resort is quite charming! We stayed in a two bedroom queen suite with adjoining bathroom. The rooms were clean and updated and we felt like we were staying at a small bed and breakfast. The Nonantum Resort is just minutes away from the beach, great walking trails, and downtown Kennebunkport! I would choose to stay here again and again!
We visited this resort with our two kids (ages 6 and 8) in mid-late June. Stayed on the second floor of Portside in a room with a view of the water. Booked directly through the resort so breakfast was included. I read reviews before we left so we came prepared with a sound machine- yes we heard the people above us walking around but with the sound machine we brought, and using the earplugs provided, it didn’t disturb our sleep. The room was comfortable and clean although with so much to do on property, we really were only in the room to sleep. We stayed during the week and no weddings were scheduled during our time there. I can not say enough positive things about the staff and scheduled activities at Camp Nonantum. Both my kids had so much fun doing basically every scheduled activity with the staff at Camp Nonantum including knot tying, crabbing, arts & crafts, Bingo, etc. My kids absolutely loved the drop-off kids club in the evening. They had so much fun playing games with the staff and other kids. The nights were themed and included a treasure hunt. I appreciate the flexibility of allowing us to choose whether we want dinner included in the evening kids club. Special shout-out to Colby who, while managing a million tasks, always had time to answer questions and help us. We really appreciated how kind the camp staff was to our children and how fun they made the experience. Happy children equals happy parents! The resort set up is absolutely perfect for families as kids are able to run between the pool, activities and lawn games all day. The outdoor pool is heated to a temperature that makes it comfortable to swim even in 60 degree weather. There is live music every night at the pool and the restaurant/bar is attached. We enjoyed the convenience of renting kayaks right on the property, as well as the ease of scheduling activities online. The nightly campfire with Colby playing guitar was a great time for the whole family. All the staff we interacted with at the resort were friendly and helpful. We did a day trip to Goose Rocks Beach which, while not the closest beach, is absolutely beautiful and has tide pools. Take the free hotel shuttle to avoid the $25/day parking fee by the beach. I highly recommend this resort to families looking for an easy, fun, relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting.…
We stayed here for a wedding. The rooms were clean and updated. Every employee that we encountered was extremely kind, smiling, professional and helpful. Lovely location and view. The functional hall was very nice & food delicious at the wedding. A full and tasty breakfast in the dining room was included and in a hurry, a to go breakfast, was also available. This location is on the inlet from the ocean with river views, a short walk to the beach or to the center area with quaint shops and restaurants/pubs. Fun weekend away. Definitely would recommend.
I have always wanted to visit Maine and Kennebunkport specifically, and this hotel did not let us down. With flight delays, we were 10 hours late arriving stressed an tired, but greeted warmly and with open arms by Sammy. Breakfast was amazing with new additions each day. We went on from our 2 night stay in Kennebunkport for a few more nights mid coast, but kept wishing we were back here. We ate lobster rolls all over Maine, but loved the one here at the hotel best of all, comparing them all to the hotel. We are from Texas and loved that we could see the Bush compound. We spent an afternoon playing yard games with an amazing view. Amazing memories!
This resort is classy. Our room had a great view of the inlet. Lot's of lawn chairs to enjoy the evenings. And oh, did I mention the breakfast. Very yummy. The location is perfect as well. The beds are very comfortable. The cocktails at both the outside and inside bars were lovely.
Wonderful stay during mid week. Comfortable beds and pillows, tile floors and renovated bathroom! Loved the breakfast and ate lunch and dinner too because the food was great! We went on the Pineapple and the seas were great! Loved walking each evening to see the ocean. The only problem is if you want to sleep in you can hear the upstairs footsteps. They provide earplugs and white noise machine.
This family run resort is a perfect example of how hospitality is done right! I’ve worked in the industry and this is one of the first large resort operations that has everything figured out so that everyone’s experience will be rememberable for all the right reasons. The updated room was decorated comfortably like you want a Oceanside retreat and the view of the river was worth every penny. The amazing buffet breakfast was not your typical buffet, there were delicious homemade offerings that changed daily and there were plenty of servers to take care of us, a rarity in these post pandemic times. We used to sail in the area and wanted to be as close to the river as possible, this resort has a very expansive riverfront lawn with Adirondack chairs set in small groupings so you can really enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There are shops and restaurants within an easy walk too. We dined at Latitudes several times and we’re impressed by the service and food quality. We are people that enjoy a good cocktail & a friendly mixologist, Matt was our guy! He made us feel welcome and within a couple cocktails we were chatting like old friends. We will definitely be back!…
