Perfection, beautiful area , very close to town. We used the complimentary bikes and rode around. Really enjoyed the lounge areas and fireplaces. Very clean and elegant but also had a modern twist. Highly recommend. Really happy we stayed here after all the googling we did trying to find the perfect place thanks
Beautiful B&B in historic buildings, but with modern features. Perfectly located in a quiet part of town that is walking distance to main commercial area. Well worth the 5 stars. Also appreciated their environmental use of refillable bath soap/shampoo bottles rather than small plastic bottles. Breakfast was also delicious.
Lovely hotel. Would stay hear again. Everyone is so kind and accomodating. Breakfast was very filling. Lovely thickand soft chocolate chip cookies. We stayed for our wedding anniversary and they left cookies an candies to celebrate.
Stayed 2 nights last week. The place is nicely decorated with a nod to both the old world and modern blended nicely. Room was big, nice and light. Bathroom was sufficient. You needed to put the blind down if you sat on the loo as it was a clear view for any neighbours 😉. Breakfast was cooked and was lovely with plenty of choices for cereals, pastries, bagels etc as well. Walking to town was a 5 minute trip so position is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were terrific, friendly helpful and fun. The only thing we would say we would have to mark down was the bed. Bit hard, but it was a slat mattress base and they are not known for being plush feeling. Personal taste of course. Summary. Great place, close to town, lovely room and great staff.
I have stayed here twice now. The houses are beautiful and spotless. Perfect location to easily walk into town. They have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. My favorite place to stay when visiting kennebunkport. Can’t wait to return.
My wife and I just spent three nights in the Jeffrey House, one of the buildings that make up this place. Those considering staying here should understand what it is and what it isn’t. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated as an old inn. However, I was disappointed with the bathroom being very small with little room for personal items. There was no desk area to sit and write or use a computer. The doors were not light tight. There was no room phone or intercom system to contact management if an issue or question arose. There is no one at the office after 7pm. You are transferred to voicemail. There are no elevators which was a real challenge when lugging suitcases up the stairways to the third floor rooms. There are no room safes for valuables. Realize that this is not a resort. No pool, exercise room, tennis, or water views. The facility is located in a residential area, about three blocks from town. The staff were friendly and attentive . Breakfast is provided with limited selections each day, but always good and fresh healthy options. So, understanding what this place is and isn’t before you go will make this a better experience for you.…
If you enjoy staying in historic vibing places this grand house will tickle your fancy. Easy walk to the touristy part of town. Easy drive to surrounding beaches too. Nice breakfast with a lot of choices.
My wife and I planned this trip when we found out we were expecting and could not be happier with our stay. The hotel was beautiful, staff was so nice and the location was prime. I cannot say enough about the concierge. We went fishing on Friday and our concierge set us up with a private lunch at Musette featuring our catch! I cannot express enough how special she made our trip!
We loved the hotel so, so much! Our room was on the 3rd floor with a couch and big, comfy bed. The entire experience was magical. We loved the food, the building, the bed, the shower and all the staff. I recommend highly and am planning on a mother visit!
When looking for a place in Kennebunk to gather with seven members for a family gathering none of the hotels fit our bill. I came across the captains collection and thought it might be a unique experience. We stayed in the Jeffords house. It was beyond any expectation we could've had. We rented 4 deluxe suites, had fireplaces in each room, crisp comfy beds, beautiful decor, lovely coffee kitchen, lovely sitting rooms, lovely outdoor seating and lovely people. Great food at the main house for breakfast. I would go back in a second!
