This was my first time staying at the Cottages at Cabot Cove. It did not disappoint! The cottages were adorable, and each had its own unique decor. Upon arrival, we were greeted with delicious Maine whoopie pies, and the breakfasts and other treats presented throughout the stay made it even better! The cove itself is a great place to take our the boats or paddle boards that the hotel provides. The resort is within walking distance to town and to the coastline, which adds to its charm. I have already recommended this hotel to two friends. I cannot wait to return!
Perfect location near Dock Square. Beautifully decorated. Great location. Beautiful views. Quiet. Comfortable furnishings. Freshly prepared breakfast delivered to your door. Only wish is that our stay was longer!
My husband and I just returned from a 3-night stay at the Cottages at Cabot Cove. We had a wonderful time and this property was fabulous! We booked the morning that we were arriving since the cancellation policy is stiff (since it is a small property). We booked online through their website. We received a 5% discount with our AAA membership. There is a $35 per night resort activity fee, so be aware of that added charge. There were only two cabins left, so we opted for Sleepy Hollow Cottage. We arrived just before the sun went down and loved the place right away. The cabins are set in a circle, with a center that has a fire pit, chairs, lawn games, and a small hut with complimentary bicycles. We found our cabin easily; they have wooden signs with the cabin's individual names and a numbered parking space is allocated for each cabin. We didn't even have to go to the office (it was closed; office hours were from 8 - 6 pm) and our keys and brochure were on the table when we entered our cabin. The cabin was small but adorable. Lot of time and thought went into planning and perfecting these cabins. Flickering, battery-operated votive candles awaited us and set a great mood. Our bedroom had a queen bed with under-bed storage drawers and a couple of bedside tables. There was also a great flat-screened tv and one luggage rack. The living room also had a large tv. The room had numerous books on Kennebunkport and Maine; I never even got the opportunity to look through all of them. The kitchen area was outfitted with everything you could think of and we were given coffee, tea, creamer, etc. The cabin also had an air conditioner as well. They maintained the cottage extremely well; it was clean, freshly painted, and all the linens/pillows/blankets seemed new. Guests receive a lovely breakfast basket each morning by 8 AM; one morning was a savory croissant, fresh cut-up fruit, and juice. Another morning was a blueberry muffin and fresh fruit. You can take a boat out on their small pond or take a complimentary bike for a ride. We took the bikes out once. We were able to walk all over from this location; one morning we went to Ocean Avenue and walked to see the view over to Walker Point (the Bush family compound), and another morning we walked to the shopping area and went up and down the avenues admiring the old historic homes. We tried some nice restaurants in the area: Allisons, Mike's All Day Breakfast, Nunan's Lobster Shack, and the creme de la creme - Earth at Hidden Pond. Highly recommend these wonderful well-kept cottages! We hope to be back!…
We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. Our beautiful cottage was perfectly clean and smelled as good as the lilacs surrounding it!!! The hand delivered breakfasts and the comfy bikes were delightful. Great and responsive staff as well.
We highly recommend the Cottages at Cabot Cove. The grounds are beautiful, the cottages are so charming, and all the staff are very helpful and friendly. We had an absolutely fabulous experience - Thank you, Karin
