I found this place after a horrible experience at Kennebunk Inn. Please see my previous review on that property, please excuse the typos, TripAdvisor will not let me go back in and edit. The lodge is a hidden gem! A great value for the area. Is it a five star hotel? no. For the price and area and location, it is five stars. It is clean. It is safe. The beds are comfortable. It is in a great location. The staff has been super helpful. Robert and I believe Sofie at the front desk were both super helpful. I will totally stay here again. The pictures on TripAdvisor do not show some of the upgrades to rooms. The rooms are very clean, updated headboards and good parking. If you are looking for a non-chain stay, close to town, book here’. We stayed at Boothbay Harbor last summer for 3x the price. The views aren’t as good but I’d stay here, in Kennebunkport, over going to Boothbay. Better food. If you’re looking for a beach, drive to Goose Rocks ( ?). White sand vs the others I saw in the area.

Absolutely loved the place! Super quiet yet close to everything by car (4 minutes from town and all the restaurants we liked in all directions). 10 minutes from Goose Rock beach, amazing beach.,.. !0/10 for cleanliness, really. The pool was warm and quiet, we used it everyday. Sophie, at the reception was a jewel! She helped us with the layout of the area, suggested stuff to do, so sweet and funny, it added warmth and joy to our stay. We'll be back for sure!

I stayed for 5 nights to visit family and do some fishing. I was really impressed with the room quality and service. The room is spacious, clean with nice, useful fixtures. The bathroom was also very spacious. The manager was very helpful in taking of everything I needed. And the price was very reasonable for being so close to downtown Kennebunkport. I very much look forward to visiting again.

This place is exquisite! It is a good location and is only a few minutes driving distance from key attractions making it easy to get around. The price was very reasonable. Since it sits back a little from the road there was no noise from road traffic. The room was roomy and comfortable. Bebe was at the check in desk. You could not ask for a more genuine, caring and helpful person as Bebe. She recommended points of interest and great restaurants. She was even interested to hear if you liked what she recommended. HIGHTLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! We loved Kennybunkport - our favorite place!

We found this Lodge both on Kayak and on Tripadvisor and were not at all disappointed. We saw several $250-$400/night spots but wanted a clean, comfortable room, close to the Kennebunkport Port area restaurants at a reasonable price. We weren't disappointed. The young woman at the front desk was very helpful with a quick check in and then a thoughtfully marked up local map giving us several options. Enjoyed a dinner at the Boat House, of Lobster Roll, Crab Cakes and Clam Chowder, the last two both appetizers. With a drink and a Tea the total for two was $75, easily making the Lodge a "pay for dinner" savings plan. And the room was "very nice motel". Th Bed was clean and comfortable. Nice towels. Very satisfied.

In an area full of very expensive hotels and resorts, the Lodge at Turbatt's Creek is a hidden gem. The staff is very helpful and friendly. (We needed some extra towels and had them within minutes.) Sophia welcomed us like old friends. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. It is also perfectly located to take advantage of all the area has to offer.

Good location and is only a few minutes driving distance from key attractions making it easy to get around. Since it sits back a little from the road there was no noise from road traffic. The rooms were average in comfort, and they did have a significant musty smell when you walked in. Oddly, the bathroom floor was very slippery throughout our stay which may be a result of the moisture in the rooms. The walls are thin and you can hear water running from other rooms. Staff was wonderful - especially Olivia. She was very helpful in helping us get oriented with the area as well as making various recommendations when we called upon her. She was a tremendous help. While they did have outdoor seating in the grassy area, just be sure to bring bug spray for your ankles.

We stayed here for two nights and were pleased with the accomodations. The facility is old but clean, well kept and updated. The mattress was by far the best one we slept on in Maine. That includes sleeping arrangements in pricy Inns! This facility is conveniently located to restaurants etc. but off the beaten path which makes it quiet and relaxing. It is very reasonably priced and a great value.
