This is an excellently located Inn on Ocean Drive in Kennebunkport. Wonderful staff welcomed us and since it was off-season, assisted us in finding good old down home Maine seafood. Our room was spacious, unique and beautifully decorated overlooking the Kennebunk River.

Dear Tony D, Thanks for thinking of us for your last minute get away to Kennebunkport. Winter is definitely a quieter time in this area, but there is still so much to see and do during this season. Hopefully, you were able to grab dinner at Stripers Waterside Restaurant during your visit, as well as try out some of the...

Stayed in an ocean view room and saw a beautiful sunset. Dinner at the Stripers restaurant was very good and the continental breakfast was ok. It is a short hike into town if are up for it but wonderful scenery.

Dear ShellCollector713, Thank you for allowing The Breakwater Inn and Spa to be your home away from home while visiting our beautiful state of Maine. I cannot say enough about the Breakwater Inn and Spa. Spacious and clean rooms. The staff Amazing. The Spa out of this world. My daughters and I went away for a girls spa weekend. This is one of the best places I have been to. My oldest daughter had a salt scrub and my other daughter and I have Manicures...

I came here with my family for a weekend getaway. I booked massages for the ladies. The reason I didn't give a higher rating was that I didnt know the Inn is located in two separate buildings. It was not made clear to me at time of booking. The spa building has all the spa services, fitness center and nice...

Dear Biztraveler2222, Thank you for visiting us and for taking the time to share you experience with us. While we love the unique differences of the Spa Building and the historic Inn, we do understand that it may be confusing for our guests. Rooms are large, attractive, and quite comfortable. We stayed in an waterview (king) room in the inn, and took advantage of their January/February special. Bottles of water in the room each day and a few pieces of saltwater taffy left on the bed by housekeeping. The location is good - not really close enough to walk to town in the...

Dear Lisa B, Thank you for visiting us! We are so glad that you found our Winter Special and decided to give us a try. Dear Gordon R., Thank you for making The Breakwater Inn and Spa part of your New England road trip. We love being a home away from home for guests while in Kennebunkport. Our hotel does have two buildings available for our guests, each of which offers a slightly different experience. The method of booking doesn't determine where we place guests,...

Needed a little time away from the busy schedule and my wife and I found this place to be perfect for that. Great view of the bay, no elevators but that added to the experience, you get an actual key vs. a key card. Nice place to kick back and relax.
