What a pleasure staying at the Rhumb Line was. I stayed this past summer and it was such a delightful and "homie" experience. The staff is more than accommodating; the rooms are a bit dated but they are clean and how much time are you spending in your room anyway? The outdoor pool always had a great fun crowd. And... More

Stayed one night for a friend's wedding. Pretty nice older resort outside of Kennebunkport. Don't plan on walking or biking to town, use uber or a taxi. Uber worked great for us all weekend actually. Friendly staff, lots of kids around. Room was older but clean with a balcony for some fresh air. The breakfast was as good as a... More

Price, cleanliness good. Beds good but soft so not so good with someone with back issues. Staff ok not as friendly as other places in area. Budget friendly, basic place to stay, clean room. If you are use to luxury this is not the place for you but if you are traveling on a budget it is the place to... More

Rhumb Line resort offers standard motel style rooms for a resaonable price(around $100) in the middle of a very expensive vacation destination, Kennebunkport, Maine. We were here in mid fall with the foliage in full color and the air turning crisp. The rooms have usual issue king or 2 queen beds with a small bathroom area. Nothing fancy but clean... More

The resort pictures don't give ou a true visual of the condition of this property. The room we booked was on the lower level and smelled very musty and generally rundown in overall condition. We were offered a room at an additional $10.00 per night for supposedly remodeled room. It too left a lot to be desired. The mattress had... More

We originally got a Groupon to take our baby moon here in 2014. Much to our surprise, our baby boy came 7 weeks early and we were admitted to the hospital on our original check in date. The staff was so accommodating and allowed us to come over a year later and we had such a great time! The indoor... More

thank you for taking the time to write this wonderful report. I have a terrific staff who work very hard behind the scenes to help make our place a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We don't pretend to be anything but a family style destination for those who enjoy relaxing by the pool or sitting on your porch or... More

A peaceful setting just a mile from George and Barbara Bush's beautiful residence on Walker's Point. Don't miss St, Ann's Episcopal Church nearby. The town is a bit touristy, but shops are inviting. The Ports of Italy restaurant near the bridge is a must

My family have been coming to this hotel for over 20 years attracted by the affordability of a facility so close to Maine's beautiful beaches and Kennebunkport. Rooms are very basic but functional. Ours offered a walk-out to the pool, restaurant and hot tub. Breakfast is included and offers all the basics. The outdoor pool is large enough to accommodate... More

The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the best deal in the area. 2 Pools and onsite lunch and light dinner. Also, basic breakfast room came in handy for a quick bite. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with dinner reservations and tour info. Katie was the best!

This hotel is hardly a 'Resort', certainly not cheap! Extremely disappointing for the cost and had we had the children with us we would not have stayed. The bedding and bathroom were clean hence the 2 stars, but the carpet was filthy and room had not seen a duster for a long time, room very run down. There was an outside bar not... More

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. We host hundreds of guests all summer and generally hear comments like "great time", "so friendly", "love the Admiral's Table". As I mentioned in the previous response, we have been trying to refurbish all of our rooms and are about 60% done so far. We are working on 8 rooms... More
