Loved our visit to Sandy Pines! We stayed in the “Shepard’s Hut” unique retreat. We were so pleased! This hut was adorable and perfect little size for two (couples). Cant wait to return May 2021and experience another unique retreat. Such a beautiful location for a campsite.
Sandy Pines Campground is so cute! It is is very well kept. We stayed in a glamping hut and it was exactly how it was pictured on the website. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities you would need for a glamping trip. It’s right on the marsh so there is a kayak and Stand Up Paddle Board launch where you can paddle out to the beach. We went toward the end of the season so it was quiet and not too crowded. The kids enjoyed riding their bikes and playing on the playground. I would love to go back and stay in one of the glamping tents next time!
I had read about glaming and always wanted to give it a try and am so pleased to have discovered Sandy Pines. As a "city guy," without any real camping experience, I wanted to find a way to experience camping in the woods without any hassels and this is it! We stayed in one of the cottages. In person, it looked as charming as the photos with great decor. The bed was super-comfortable with great linens. We enjoyed time outside our cottage around the campfire and the beauty of the salt marshes. The staff was very attentive to all my questions in advance and extremely friendly when we arrived. Great experience checking in and in the General Store. The bathrooms are convenient, nice and cleaned frequently. We will definitely be back!
Great place! The bathrooms are genius in that they are squeaky clean and each is a private stall with a shower, sink and toilet. Lovely place! Location was 10 minutes from Kennebunkport and beautiful.
Just returned from a week at Sandy Pines RV Park, first time there, so glad we spent the entire week. Check in quick, easy, we found all staff very helpful and friendly. Our RV is 35 feet long and we pull a jeep as a Tow Vehicle, I mentioned this to the office at booking. Our campsite was just perfect. RV fit just fine, plenty of room, the spots through out the campground were very wide and long, mostly private. People around us friendly too! Bath houses numerous and very clean and private! We travel with a dog we found lots of empty open ground for dog walking. So much to do in the area, a few miles from downtown Kennebunkport, close to shops, restaurants, and BEACH! WE cannot wait to return back next Fall. Great RV Park, very nice rates and wonderful staff and scenery. Very quiet all the time!…
