White Barn Inn had a boutique hotel atmosphere that was really cozy. The staff was friendly from the valets to the housekeepers. Lots of little touches like a welcome snack tray to morning coffee delivery to house-made nightly turndown sweets, really make guests feel special. The spa treatments were lovely, and the food at the main restaurant was outstanding. The location is great - you can definitely walk into the lower village of Kennebunk. It's probably a short walk to the main beach (or a bike ride, which they provide bikes you can use). If you want to explore other areas of Maine, it's pretty easy to get to the interstate/turnpike. We had a junior suite, which was really cute with a large freestanding tub and double-sided fireplace - in the main building (2nd floor). The only critiques I had was I wanted a really comfortable place to sit besides the bed (which was too high to sit on the edge), not a lot of counter or table space, and the bed was really firm. Overall, our stay there was really nice. I'd love to return someday during the summer to get the full use of the resort. Even if you don't stay, you should consider the White Barn Inn Restaurant for a special occasion meal as it was truly outstanding.…

Great hotel to stay at, super cozy, clean and walking distance to everything. The food was also excellent with hotel provided bicycles to ride off your meal. My daughter and I really enjoyed our one night stay

Top quality hotel, well situated to visit kennebunkport. The room was very well equipped and comfortable with plenty of complimentary snacks. We didn't try the fine dining restaurant but the Little barn restaurant was excellent. Recommended

Several issues but the biggest was that we had no water for half a day and we only got a weak apology from Engineering. The absolutely worst stay ever. It was an incredible waste of our money and time. Save your self a huge disappointment and DO NOT stay here! It was a complete rip off.

First and Foremost the restaurant is amazing. For dinner. Seriously. Nuanced layering of flavors, fresh ingredients, rich but not heavy, innovative but not contrived. Friendly and professional service. Our room was loft suite, above the restaurant, so a bit of a noise issue. The room is well designed with rustic charm but badly in need of updating~ needs new bed, toilet seat, better lighting and hot water. The staff is friendly and eager to help, and mostly professional.

White Barn Inn was exceptional from the staff, to the food, location and historic charm that it offers! The restaurant is second to none! Chef knows what he's doing along with the entire staff. The location allows you to experience the ocean views or the quaint little town by either a short walk or enjoying one of the complimentary bikes. Already planning a trip back next year with family. We have traveled to many places, and the White Barn Inn and Kennebunk Maine is at the top of our favorites list!

My wife and I dined at White Barn Inn on Saturday, September 9, 2023 on our anniversary. We've been to the restaurant before, and it never disappoints. Our meal was delicious, the service was great, and the scenery is always elegant. To be sure, this is a very expensive meal. But for a special occasion, we found it well worth the cost (which for the two of us was $600+ accounting for gratuity, alcohol and taxes).
