First and foremost the Inn’s Innkeeper has a welcoming and pleasant demeanor, making you feel at home from the beginning of your stay at this beautiful inn. The breakfast food she prepared was creative, tasty and healthy. In consideration of the world we are living in currently, the inn and our room were immaculate from a cleanliness perspective, which gave us confidence and comfort. The location is a leisurely walk outside the village of Kennebunkport. Overall a wonderful stay! Thank you!
In August, my husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the Tranquility Suite. It was a delightful experience. We had pretty much stayed local since the start of Covid and it was just wonderful to travel to Maine and stay in this lovely inn. I had many questions for Elizabeth before our trip and she provided lots of helpful information, including where we could get rapid Covid tests in York, ME. So easy and convenient. Our suite was very comfortable and the bed gets ten stars! We slept really well, which is not always the case when we travel. As others have mentioned, the breakfasts on the patio were a real highlight. Just delicious. And we loved the way the food was served in courses. We also loved the fact that you could get freshly brewed, early morning coffee from Elizabeth. What a great way to start the day. Also, want to mention her charming daughter, Leah, who was fun to talk to and did a great job as breakfast server! We felt really pampered and cared for. We highly recommend a stay at the Inn at English Meadows. Many thanks to Elizabeth and Leah.…
The Inn was great, clean and neat, we felt very comfortable, close, but not to close to everything you want to see in Kennebunkport, The host, Elizibeth was wonderful, great breakfast as well, Our room, #2, upstairs in main house was wonderful, plenty of room and lots of windows
The Inn at English Meadows is a true gem! Elizabeth is a warm and lovely host. The room had everything one could need. Lovely toiletries and robes. The breakfasts were delicious and there were homemade cookies in the afternoon! It was in walking distance to several good restaurants. Definitely a reason to return to Kennebunk.
Although our time here was very short, it was still quite relaxing! We were lucky to book a last minute reservation in the Sunset room lacated on the 2nd floor of the carriage house. The room was the perfect size for the two of us and was immaculate. Please note that the floors are squeeky which is part of the charm of an old inn. You will hear some footsteps from the floor above but it's not much of a bother. The inn is located in a great location with terrific restaurants and shopping within a 5 minute walk. Elizabethe, the Innkeeper is wonderful. Our three course breakfast was beyond our expectations and leaving was difficult...we only wish we could have spent more time here! Thank you for providing a nice memory of our trip!
