The serene decor and location were perfect for our evening to unplug. The beautiful views, large bath tub and bedtime tea made for a dreamy night of rest. Our only wish was that we had time to borrow the bicycles to explore more with our new found energy! Very romantic and relaxing evening. We shall return!

My husband and i enjoyed our stay here for two days and found it to be very clean and right across the street from the beach. Although the beach directly across from the hotel was typically "rocky", just a short 2 minute walk was nice enough for beaching it. The hotel was a quick 5-10 minute drive to Dock Square in Kennebunkport where all the shops and restaurants are located. The young woman at the front desk was extremely nice and very helpful with recommendations for where to go and where to eat! There was always fresh coffee and snacks available in the lobby. It's not fancy, but it is comfortable, and reasonably-priced for the area.

The perfect getaway! Super welcoming staff and always available for questions/recommendations. The views alone were breathtaking and the upgrades to the rooms made them so comfortable. The beds and pillows were a dream! Bikes were available and was the perfect way to view the Kennebunk beaches! Spent the evening watching the sunset from the front porch. Overall 10 out of 10 stay!

Went to sleep to the sound of the waves, pillows were amazing, clean and fresh rooms and common areas. We walked on the beach and rode the bicycles. Will go back for sure!!! Elevator got us to the 4th floor.

What a great place to get away! The inn is beautiful and the location is perfect! Our room was so pretty with an excellent view of the ocean. Decor and bathroom look newly and tastefully renovated. The common area is very relaxing and comfortable. Brian, the manager was very accommodating and had the best recommendations for restaurants and sunsets. We are already planning a trip back.

We were so lucky to stumble upon the Beach House Inn when we were searching for a weekend getaway in Kennybunk, ME. The place is truly a treasure. It is right on the beach. I love being able to watch the waves from the window of our room. Brian, the hotel manager, was able to provide great recommendations...from where the locals go to get a scrumptious breakfast, to where the best spot is to see the sunset. Our bed was super comfy and the views of the ocean were spot on. After spending the day at the beach, you can enjoy a cup of tea/coffee in the parlor while enjoying even more views of the ocean. Such a perfect getaway spot. I would definitely recommend.

The bed was extremely comfortable with ocean views upon drifting off to sleep and waking in the morning. Welcomed the cheese and crackers, home-baked cookies and tea/coffee available on arrival to enjoy on the deck overlooking the ocean view. The staff, especially the inn keeper, are very friendly and helpful, always available to answer questions. The common space is very comfortable in order to chat or play games with kids/family. Our family had celebrated a great Mother's Day together at this beautiful Inn - would definitely come again. Thanks to all.

Several members of my family gathered here to get away & celebrate Mother's Day together. We were in a lovely room with a King sized bed & outstanding ocean views (and sounds - we could hear the waves all night through the open windows). Everything was clean & new. The room came with 2 comfy sitting chairs with a little table, a beautiful antique armoire containing luxurious robes & a spotless bathroom (also overlooking the ocean) with all the basic amenities you could need including a dark face towel for after applying/removing makeup (so smart). We spent lots of time just sitting out on the lawn & up on the front porch enjoying the weather & views. There's also plenty of space indoors to gather & visit. There was always fresh coffee/tea available. There was also a room with tables we were able to use to eat our breakfast we brought in. The staff was incredibly friendly & accommodating. First of all I want to say that the Beach House used to be our favorite hotel. The water view room was stripped down. Nothing on the walls, not even a chair or table in the room. The bathroom had zero space to set personal items, the toilet backed up and there was never anyone at the desk. We had to call their other hotel and wait to get help. Nothing at all like the pictures on their website or our prior experiences. The breakfast was 100% cold foods and uninteresting. We’ve had better breakfasts at inexpensive chain hotels. When we complained they admitted that their service was lacking but made no attempt to offer any compensation. We will not be back!

Thank you for your feedback. I’m so sorry to hear you did not have a good experience with us. I am happy to say that the Inn is under new management for 2023, and we have just undergone major renovations and improvements to the inn including new wifi, 14 full room renovations, new furniture and fixtures, and new hallway carpets. On top of the challenges we all faced during COVID, we had a major flood event January of 2022 that impacted over half of our rooms requiring major renovation, and room closures for most of the 2022 season. We are now fully staffed at this location, and look forward to coming back stronger. I’m very excited to be here, and make sure that all stays with us is a great one. I’m so sorry for the challenges you experienced with us in the past, and hope you’ll give us another chance in the future. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly.
