The staff at The Grand bend over backwards to make your stay a fantastic one. From a welcome drink to a gift bag upon departing, they go the extra mile. There are beach passes, beach chairs and bicycles to borrow. There is an amenities station on the floor with ice, extra coffee pods, paper goods, etc. in case of need.... More

OK, the Intercontinental Madrid still remains our top fave hotel (for service & location outside the noisy downtown area) but this place is the opposite - it's in the first "block" of Kennebunk Port - near a nice wine shop; a spot across the street for breakfast or lunch or coffee and wine - HB Provisions is terrific - see... The hotel was immaculate. Staff very friendly. Champagne on arrival and a goody bag on departure. Our room(suite) was awesome. Great private Veranda. You are right in the center of town-dock square with great shops and restaurants all within walking distance.High end hotel.

The smell, colors, decor all combined to give this hotel a feeling of cleanliness. Our room was nicely appointed, and had a deck with a view of the town and river. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The front desk closed in the evening, and there was no restaurant, but everything that might be needed was right across the street... More

We went for our honeymoon and had an absolutely fantastic week. We were there during an off season and so there was only one other couple staying at the hotel. It made for a quiet and relaxing week. We would've probably liked a small bit of special attention or something since it was our honeymoon and we made them aware... More

This obviously fell through the cracks. We love giving our... More

Stayed here last week for two days during the week with my husband. The hotel is in immaculate condition, as soon as you walk in you're greeted with a lovely scent of beach, sandlwood and clean linen. The rooms are very comfortable, with bottles of water, wine openers, robes and a coffee maker. The bathroom is incredible - a heated... More

This was our first time staying at the Grand Hotel and we were very pleased. The hotel and the rooms have a modern elegant decor. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is elegantly appointed. Stayed here for 2 nights last week - lovely hotel. Granted, there is no bar or restaurant but that is not a problem in Kennebunkport!! You can walk everywhere from here in 5 - 10 mins. I mean very very nice. The room is very well done and comfortable. The heated floor in the bathroom was unique. Good proximity to local restaurants. Good on-site parking. Only odd part is the front desk closes at night and there is a sign with a number to call if you need assistance. Recommended.
