A hotel with a lot of history. The staff were well trained and very professional in their duties with a "hands on" and efficient General Manager. The food was excellent and our entire stay was most enjoyable.
Highly recommend staying here! Room 102 with the patio, high top table, and direct access to the street was excellent. Proximity to everything was perfect. Room and amenities were spot on. Cant wait to come back!
We had a wonderful time at your hotel. The rooms were clean and bright. There was a nice breakfast outside our door each am. During these unprecedented times your staff made us feel safe and took all necessary precautions to make sure we felt comfortable and had no worries, so we could enjoy our wonderful weekend in Kennebunkport.
This was not our first choice but we waited to long and our first choice was booked. We saw the good reviews and location of the Grand so booked that as our second choice. We were very pleased with our stay. The location is excellent. Easy walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Room was fairly small with no desk. My computer really wa s a laptop as I needed to do a little work and with no desk.... Wifi was great. Bathroom was large with heated floor. No refrigerator but plenty of ice is availalble pre-packaged down the hall which was great. There was no staff on site which was strange to us. We got a text on how to check in and where to find key and checkout was leaving key in the room. No coffee in the morning in the lobby (small K-cup is in the room) so I walked across the street to the general store/deli which was convenient. They did drop a prepackaged continental style breakfast in a bag by 8:30am each morning which was plenty for my wife and I. Room was ready before actual check-in time which was great. Overall we enjoyed our stay and really enjoyed the area.…
My husband and I came to Kennebunkport Maine, as a last hurrah trip before the cold weather. The town is so quaint, just what we were hoping for. The Grand Hotel is in a great location and is accessible to lots of shops and restaurants. We loved getting up each morning to walk to Mornings in Paris coffee shop! The Grand Hotel was clean and quiet. The bathroom in our room was stunning. I understand, due to guidelines and staffing, procedures are different. The only thing that I missed was having someone greet us daily or nightly. As of now, there is no one at the front desk, due to staff being placed at another hotel in town. There are daily text messages sent to try and stay connected. Overall, my husband and I plan to come back to the charming town of Kennebunkport Maine. We hope to be able to stay at the Grand Hotel again!…
