Detailed Reviews
Room was clean for the most part, slight stain on one of the duvets but could have been pen or something. Only real issue was the heat/cool unit wouldn't stay on the correct setting. Beds could be more comfortable.

Quiet, clean and restful hotel for my family. Desk staff were very helpful and professional. Not far from route 95 and was recommended by the border patrol agent. Glad he sent us there. Plenty of eateries nearby and there.

Great place to stay in this quaint, small town. Rooms were newly renovated and very clean and comfortable. Nice having some extra seating at desk and table, plus an arm chair. Cozy bed with great pillows! Only wish they had an area to gather together outside with family instead of in room. Good location too with a few restaurants in walking distance. If you visit, go to the museum! Would definitely stay again !

I had the displeasure of staying in this motel for 5 nights in April 2021. When I arrived, I found a half eaten slice of cheese in my drawer. There was a dirty sock on the floor presumably from the last desk (I picked it up and placed it in the trash). The floor of the bathroom had what appeared to be dried urine on the floor in front of the toilet. The floor of the bathroom was soft (rotten) and the toilet was not secure to the floor. The washcloth had what appeared to be blood stains all over it. The thermometer in my room was set at 55 degrees. It was in the 50's outside, but my room was crazy hot. Now for the worst part.....the first morning I was there, I took a shower, I placed my dirty towel on the floor of the bathroom and powdered my feet. I left the dirty wet towel, full of powder, on the pee stained floor and left for the day. When I arrived back in my room, the bed was made and I had what appeared to be fresh towels hung on the rack. The next thing that I noticed was the dirty sock that I had placed in the trash was now on top of the bathroom sink next to my toiletries. I washed my hands and grabbed a towel from the towel rack. I could immediately smell powder. I shook the towel and powder came off. I then realized they had picked up my dirty wet towel, from the pee stained floor, folded it and hung it back on the towel rack like it was a fresh towel. I put the do not disturb sign on my door for the remainder of my stay. After I checked out, I called the motel and asked to speak with the manager or owner. I was transferred to the owners voice mail. I left a message and asked for a call back. I am writing this 7 days later, and no call back. This motel deserves 0 stars. I can not believe anyone could possibly rate this over a one star. If this is the state of the motel during Covid, I can only imagine what it must be like when we are not in the middle of a pandemic. Do yourself a favor and drive an hour to the nearest Hotel !!

We reserved a room with a king bed. When we arrived our room was not ready; the desk clerk gave us the key to use later. We didn't get back until the office was closed (after 9:00 pm) and found that we had two double beds, not a king and not even a queen. We had requested the non-smoking wing, and the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke as did the bedding. The room was very dirty. What looked like a half-chewed potato chip on the arm of the chair, stains on all the bedding and towels, stained carpet, bathroom door would not close fully (bound on side and floor), the shower curtain rod was pulled down so it was impossible to keep the shower curtain closed, and all the furniture was very beat up and worn. A hand towel was placed on the side of the tub to use for a bathmat, and when we put the towel on the floor, clouds of dust and a dried up spider flew up from the floor. When we checked out, we said we had reserved a king bed, and the desk clerk said yes, that was in the reservation request but no king beds were available for our date and stated that someone should have told us that. We asked if there was a discount as we didn't get the room we reserved and were told no. Cannot recommend anything about this hotel and will never stay there again.

Came up for a wedding . Unpacked everything and went to put the a/c fan on because the room smelled horrible. It worked for 4 seconds and never came back on! I had to open the window which was not easy and was nervous with the drunks at the bar so close to our room and window . The bathtub has a giant hole in the side of the tub with white tape cover part of the hole. Why would you rent a room out in these conditions. The white bedding had pink stains going down through the first 2 layers! Gross!!! Beds felt old and every time you moved it sounded like rubber moving around . I was scared to even look. I just wanted this trip to end. We have stayed here in a room facing the street about 5 yrs ago and said not bad we will come again. After this visit never again and I hope people read the reviews first, they are certainly not putting money back into this place ! Which is sad because it has potential. I travel with my daughter for 3 days . This was an unpleasant stay and will not be coming back!

It was snowing, we were tired from driving for many hours and found this motel on the main road, it was the only place we saw in this remote area. We went in to get a room, the lobby wasn't bad so we took a room. I'm not big on motels anyway but when we walked around back to our room there were about 25 people standing about 30 feet from our door. There was a bar right in the back of the hotel we didn't notice until we got to the room which is why the people were hanging around. I'm normally a live and let live, have fun, but I was a little afraid there. The clerk never mentioned the bar. Being so tired, I just wanted to sleep, I propped up the luggage rack against the door and tried but it was loud until late.
The price of the room was ridiculous $90. The beds were like rocks everything was old, even the TV was the old big box and didn't work well. I was wondering if this was normally a rent by the hour type of place. We decided to stay because we were so tired and got up and out early in the morning even though there was a raging snow storm. If I ever go back to this area you can bet I will plan better and won't be stopping for the night.

We pre-paid for a King size room, in the newly renovated ( if this exists) section. We walked in to two double beds, since we were paying for a King room we called the front desk. The woman indicated nothing else was available. Funny because we booked weeks ago? I was digesting our small room when I sat on the bed. It was rock hard. The tv had a buzzing noise so viewing was not relaxing. The room smelled like moth balls and cigarettes. By the writing desk had blood on the wall. Not sure how that was overlooked. If we were not in the middle of no where I would have left.
The next day I just happened to view the door, which stated the room price, and stated if overcharged the hotel would need to pay the customer 3 times that amount as it's illegal. Didn't really think much of it, thinking we would get the lesser rate with a smaller room. Well I should have. The rate was still the 119.00 + tax ( King rate). At checkout the woman indicated her "manager" was not in, and she could not get in contact with them until that afternoon. We were so disgusted by the room, lack of sleep and overall customer service that we left.
I can appreciate this is one of two places in the town, and perhaps this was a busy weekend but the parking lot did not look packed. If we could have been offered the rate of the room we paid for, we might have been able to swallow the fact that we even paid to sleep there. I would not recommend this place based on the service, deception in pricing and discomfort within this motel.

I will start by saying this is not an overly populated area so there weren't a lot of options. the best part of this place was quick access to the highway and the canadian border. The hotel is directly across from a truck stop and is not in the least bit attractive. The hotel is pretty run down but the rooms are clean. The doors are very thin and you can hear a lot of noise from both the street and inside the hotel. there were lot of sketchy characters in the hotel who were clearly drinking a lot.
Free coffee in office and rooms, which was nice. Room was nicer than I expected with a nice TV. unfortunately many channels did not work. the phone in my room didn't work. Bathroom tub was very very slippery.
front office staff was very nice.
I needed a local place to stay and this i guess sufficed but i couldn't wait to get out of there. Bed linens (blankets) looked dirty. I doubt they wash often.
