We loved our night at the Crocker House. The rooms were small but all was very clean and quiet. The breakfast the next morning was full of wonderful choices and they were all delicious. The grounds were beautiful and it has an onsite restaurant for dinner.

Delighted to learn you enjoyed your stay! Autumn is a great time to visit Maine. Very true, some of the rooms are rather small, but if you ever return, I'd recommend Room 7 (King bed) in the main Inn - Room 14 (King) - or Room 15 (2 Doubles and a day bed) in the Carriage House. Those three are...

We were on a transcontinental motorcycle ride and called up the inn from the road and were able to book a room that night after a long ride. The desk clerk was friendly, jovial, and gave great recommendations to see the area and good food for a short stay. The room was beautiful, quiet, and very well appointed. There is...

This is a very welcoming, self-contained inn ! The staff was extremely efficient and friendly, as well as the owner whose quiet presence oversees the entire operation while preparing outstanding dinners. In two nights, my husband and I managed to sample 4 of his entrees and it would be difficult to choose a favorite among them ! The breakfasts were...

Thank you very much for your review, Kathy! Delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Inn and that you were able to visit some of the artist studios. The area is certainly rich with gifted artists working in all mediums. Do hope you'll be able to return for another visit. Thank you again.

The Crocker House is located in an old Maine summer community. The inn is surrounded by gardens and is a short walk to the shore. There are rooms both in the inn itself and in the carriage house. It is a pet friendly inn. The inn has a restaurant that serves very tasty food in large portions. There is also...

Thank you for your review! Indeed, the Point, has a very rich history. Much can be gleaned from the two volumes of "The Sun Never Sets on Hancock Point" (published by the historical society). So pleased you enjoyed your stay at the Inn; that you found the staff friendly and that you felt welcome traveling with your pet. Please let...

We've found that the Hancock area is a great place for exploring Maine. We visited Acadia National Park, Bar Harbour, Campobello Island, Quoddy Head Lighthouse, and Jasper Beach. The Crocker House staff, is very warm and friendly. The food is excellent, and our room for 3 plus our dog was comfortable, spacious and a great value.

Thank you for your review! The Inn is a bit off the beaten path, but Hancock Point is a relaxing & quiet home-base to explore Acadia and surrounding locations. We're glad you enjoyed the staff & restaurant. We don't go to the lengths of some dog-friendly B&Bs (no doggie-massages or homemade dog biscuits on the pillows), but we have plenty...

We've stayed here twice. Once about five years ago and again in 2015. The comfort and hospitality haven't changed at all. This place really does feel like coming home. The rooms aren't big or fancy, but meet all the basic requirements. The staff is amazing and the food is as good as you can find anywhere!

We have stayed at the Crocker House so many times we feel like we are going home to visit family without the drama. The room/bed were both comfortable. Sincere thanks for your lovely review! Absolutely loved your comment 'We feel like we're going home to visit without the drama". The Crocker House has never been - or claimed to be a luxurious B&B. It is not a place guests come to be pampered (just ask our advertisers; its a word we'd never dream of using). The Crocker House...
