Our reviews say it all. Serving the Augusta Maine area, Maple Hill Farm is a small boutique hotel (an intimate country inn, if you'd like to call us that!) that perfectly combines true eco-consciousness, country serenity, relaxing comfort, and fine amenities. Surrounded by acres of rolling fields and woods, including an active bird feeder and a barn full of llamas and chickens, we were named "One of the Best 5 Green Hotels and Inns" in New England by Yankee magazine in 2017, and also Maine's first certified "Environmental Leader" green lodging establishment with a huge solar electric array plus solar hot water and its own wind turbine. Every room has a private bath. Huge double whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, and private decks accentuate some guest rooms. A sauna and outdoor hot tub beckon the guest to truly relax, along with full bar service, a full breakfast cooked to order, and personalized attention. Four EV charging stations, too!

I live ten minutes from this place and I rented a room because my entire body was worn down and the tub looked amazing. I rented room one for the deluxe tub. The tub was phenomenal. There was a separate shower. It was hot out and I stood on my private balcony in a towel air drying while looking over a spirited llama. I actually went in the tub three times while there. There were 4 light settings in the bathroom as one was it’s own mirror light and I found that relaxing because I have neurological diseases and sometimes the way a light glares for me ruins all relaxation. They provide bath fragrance as they don’t like you using your own but it smelled great. I had my own little stairway to the sauna and hot tub outback- clothing option inside- but I never made it there. They have two cute cats that I saw. Breakfast was amazing. My bed was super soft and comfortable- I slept like a dream. The chairs were comfortable in the room to read in when I left the tub which I called my reading nook. The owner gives you a great tour and supports local art shown all through the dining area. It was such a relaxing atmosphere that I would pay the price again now to go back to relax ten minutes from home.

We come here every year for my birthday weekend to just relax, and that's exactly what we get to do here! The owners are friendly and accommodating, the inn is quiet and comfortable, and the location is private but also close to downtown to have lunch at Slates and dinner at Riverside BBQ! We look forward to our stay every year to enjoy our slow mornings waking up in the cozy bed and having a home cooked breakfast served!

We have visited Maple Hill Farm multiple times and will continue to stay here in the future. Scott & Vince are wonderful hosts. They and their staff go out of their way to make your stay exceptional. The accommodations are very comfortable (several different options for singles, couples, or small families) and make you feel at home. The breakfasts are fantastic--I wish I could eat here every morning. Conversations with other guests are very interesting. The outdoor hot tub with snow on the ground is an experience everyone should try! Relaxing in the living room with a fire and a book from the Farm's library--doesn't get any better. Augusta, Hallowell, and other Maine locations are easily accessible from this peaceful and lovely location. Don't forget to check on the llamas, chickens, and cats! We will definitely return.

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Maple Hill while attending my nephew's wedding. The inn is located in a lovely area, very peaceful and relaxing. An Italian menu was ordered, and the food was wonderful and certainly ample. It's great that they have a number of rooms to accommodate the wedding party and guests. Our room was spacious and comfortable, close to the dining room. The next day, we had a delicious breakfast, making our selections from an extensive menu. The owner went out of his way to accommodate every guest. Oh, forgot to include they have a hot tub....fun

We had a very nice, comfortable overnight at Maple Hill Bed and Breakfast near Augusta, Maine. The owners were welcoming but not intrusive and we enjoyed hanging out in their comfortable living room and browsing their extensive collection of Maine related books. The breakfast was delicious! We took a walk around the grounds and met some llamas and turkeys. The rooms are small but very well kept up. Only complaint was the bed was creaky.
