Great Little B&B, with owners that are very friendly and welcoming. We had a nice stay here last august of 2015, as a part of a roadtrip in New England. Beautiful interiour decorating, and furniture in old "retro" New England style, very charming and authentic. The rooms were pleasant and comfortable, with a nice view from the hill. Only reason... We hesitated about splurging on a B&B in Greenville but this was definitely worth it! The Inn is gorgeous. It was built by a lumber baron and the wood work is phenomenal. It's Craftsman Style. Room 22 is small and looks over a small balcony (inaccessible) and to the side yard which is wooded. The bed was very comfortable. The... More

My wife and I visited the Moosehead Lake region to see the fall colors in Maine and just happened to pick the Greenville Inn to stay. Best decision of the trip! The Johannemanns were great hosts and made you feel welcome. If you're looking for a great place to stay, this is your place.

My wife and I have been staying at B&Bs around the world and we would have to put our 5 day stay in there near the top of that list. What did we like? EVERTHING! Terry and Jeff really know how to run an inn and make guests feel at home. The inn's restaurant was the best food we had in... More

We spent a most enjoyable 2 nights in this grand old Inn in a special part of Maine. Jeff and Terry were most accommodating and friendly from the time we walked in the front door until our departure on a snowy Saturday morning. The breakfast offerings included several pastry and fruit selections as well as a main course (eggs /... More

The Greenville Inn is on a hill overlooking Moosehead Lake. There are views of the lake from the porch and terrace. A quick walk takes you into town or to the Katadin dock. There are two very comfortable sitting rooms with good wi-fi access. Breakfast is prepared by the owners and it is delicious. We enjoyed French Toast with local... More

This is a stunning property, one block from Moosehead Lake. The 120 year old mansion is pristine, each room different and beautiful. Jeff and Terry are great hosts, knowledgeble about the history of the Inn and the area, and the activities available in the area, which include hiking, boating, fishing, float plane trips and moose watching. And I can just... More

In a very tiny town at the northern edge of Maine, there is a beautiful lake and over looking this lake is a spectacular B&B called the Greenriver Inn. My husband and I throughly enjoyed the luxury of this spectacular inn after trekking through the many hills and mountains of the area. The dinner service was top notch and the... More

Could not think of a better place to spend our 35th Wedding Aniversary! The owners, Terry and Jeff, have created a beautiful atmosphere and the staff was excellent. The accommodations are based upon the home of the son of an 1890's Lumber Baron. We will be coming back. We also recommend Jack's Air Service and Ed Mathieu Guide services.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the beautiful Moose Head Lake area. The Inn keeper and his wife made us very welcome and shared some interesting stories of people and places. The room was very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was a delight with fresh fruit, a choice of two hot cooked items like pancakes,... More
