I stayed for 2 nights in the Master Suite, which was amazing. The room was extra clean, and with an unique flair (it's an historical place!) (and the bed was extra comfy). Really good breakfast in the morning, I loved the scones with pieces of white chocolate. It was too cold outside to eat on the patio, but the dining... More

Beautiful B&B in a great location. Only a short walk to town and restaurants. The house is keep in meticulous condition and the hosts exemplify the meaning of the word accommodating. The breakfasts were wonderful - blueberry pancakes, praline french toast, fresh fruit, etc. We stayed in the carriage house, which was very comfortable for our family of three. Highly... More

We came up for two nights around a guided fly fishing trip on the Kennebec in July 2016. Jeff the owner was terrific - showed us all around the Shaw Mansion and its beautiful wooden paneled rooms and tld us about the history of the area and the mansion. We stayed in the Shaw suite. Very comfortable, clean and adjacent... More

This was our first trip to Maine and we started off our vacation by heading to Greenville to check out this region of the lake. Our stay at the Inn was very pleasant. The room was comfortable and the Inn was beautiful. The owners Jeff and Terry made us feel welcomed and shared many interesting stories. Breakfast was AWESOME! So... More

Beautiful location on a hill overlooking Moosehead Lake. Inn and cottages are architecturally delightful and comfortable with many thoughtful touches. Staff the absolute best - they made us feel completely at home. All the meals were top-notch. Again with many special touches to make sure we our food was perfect. Great Little B&B, with owners that are very friendly and welcoming. We had a nice stay here last august of 2015, as a part of a roadtrip in New England. Beautiful interiour decorating, and furniture in old "retro" New England style, very charming and authentic. The rooms were pleasant and comfortable, with a nice view from the hill. Only reason... We hesitated about splurging on a B&B in Greenville but this was definitely worth it! The Inn is gorgeous. It was built by a lumber baron and the wood work is phenomenal. It's Craftsman Style. Room 22 is small and looks over a small balcony (inaccessible) and to the side yard which is wooded. The bed was very comfortable. The... More

My wife and I visited the Moosehead Lake region to see the fall colors in Maine and just happened to pick the Greenville Inn to stay. Best decision of the trip! The Johannemanns were great hosts and made you feel welcome. If you're looking for a great place to stay, this is your place.

My wife and I have been staying at B&Bs around the world and we would have to put our 5 day stay in there near the top of that list. What did we like? EVERTHING! Terry and Jeff really know how to run an inn and make guests feel at home. The inn's restaurant was the best food we had in... More

We spent a most enjoyable 2 nights in this grand old Inn in a special part of Maine. Jeff and Terry were most accommodating and friendly from the time we walked in the front door until our departure on a snowy Saturday morning. The breakfast offerings included several pastry and fruit selections as well as a main course (eggs /... More
