We booked this cute little cabin to watch the eclipse from ... and we could not have been luckier. The views from the deck over the lake are stunning, the cabin is charming, and the property managers were so wonderful. When we arrived, some of the pipes had burst due to the recent storm and temperature changes ... and they moved quickly to arrive on scene, get a plumber out, and worked with us to ensure a comfortable stay throughout our time there. (We didn't want to lose this spot! It was too amazing.) The surrounding walking paths down to the lake are lovely and well-marked. We saw moose tracks and other paw prints in the snow. It was a great Maine experience. Highly recommend this spot!

I have to be honest here… these cabins are so absolutely wonderful! They had everything you would need except groceries! Very comfortable and like home away from home. The view from the balcony was breathtaking! We are planning on coming back next year. Although I never met the owners, I did speak on the phone with the Mrs., and she was so nice and cheerful! I highly recommend these cabins.

Loon Lodge is so cozy and warm, especially after spending the day on the snowmobile trails. Coming from the city it was so quiet. I honestly think you could hear it snow. Plenty of room for a bunch of people. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beds were comfy and plenty of them. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at the Burnt Jacket Lodge. The lodge was as promised. New construction, very clean, and well-equipped. It offered amazing views and amenities, incl. a new hot tub. Highly recommend!

We spent our 13th anniversary at Kineo cabin...the view was great! Out of the way enough for privacy, close enough to town to go to dinner. Clean, neat, comfy. The state park offered great views for photography, and yes, we did see a couple of moose cows!

Had a fantastic stay at the Kineo cabin with my best friend. The cabin was perfect. It was immaculately clean and had two very good sized, comfortable bedrooms, a well-supplied kitchen and a full sized shower with great water pressure and very hot water which provided nice relief after days spent hiking. The views from the deck were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing with a drink in the Adirondack chairs each evening. The cabin was centrally located to beautiful state parks and the town of Greenville where we found several very good restaurants and shops. One caution - heading from the cabin into town, there is a bit of a steep hill where you can gather speed that quickly takes you over the posted speed limits. I was pulled over but was let go (after a quick conversation about how much we were enjoying our visit and lodging) by a very kind and forgiving police officer. I would highly recommend the Moosehead Hills cabins to anyone looking for a beautifully located, comfortable home away from home in the gorgeous Moosehead Lake region.

An AMAZING getaway in the spectacular northwoods of Maine! Wilson Pond was reflecting the autumn leaves of the trees surrounding it to create a stunning view. Loon Lodge was the perfect setting. Inside it was beautifully appointed - cozy, comfortable and clean. We took advantage of the kayaks, the fire pit, the grill, the outdoor deck, the indoor fireplace. It was exactly what you hope for when imagining a lodge in the woods by the water! This was a 5-Star getaway! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful cabin.(Loon Lodge) There were neighbors but we felt like we were there by ourselves. Couldn't see or hear anyone else. Fishing wasn't so great but that was our mistake due to time period. There are trails everywhere to walk. The view is outstanding, no sign of any other cabins. It says it's a "pond" but it's HUGE. Like big lake huge. Two bedrooms with king beds. One downstairs, one upstairs. Very sound home and we didn't disrupt each other. This is a cabin you dream of with the view. Most things you need are there as far as cooking and utensils. Totally recommend this place to the next person. Don't let the pond scare you away. Its remarkable. The only draw back is the cleaning lady had an envelope for a tip. We didn't quite understand it due to us being asked to take out trash/recyclables, sweep, clean all dishes and put away. (Which we understand cleaning up after ourselves and had zero problem doing.) But a tip? We paid a cleaning fee and cleaned,so there was some confusion. Also a better broom to sweep would have been nice, the one they left was strudy just took forever to get it swept good. Overall, thats minor. Its a beautiful cabin with beautiful views. Its close enough to everything, yet feels far away. Again, I highly recommend it. We

This is our 4th year staying with Moosehead Hills Cabins. This year, we stayed in the Loon Lodge which was wonderful! The "cabin" was clean, neat, comfortable and had all the amenities we could need. There were 3 small kayaks provided down by the water (but no dock which made getting in and out a bit tricky). The setting was in a community of homes, but it was still very private with no views of the neighboring houses. The cabin is in a little cove which protected in well from the occasional wind, but it was a short paddle out to the open water. We prefer Lower Wilson Lake to Moosehead because it is smaller, warmer, more charming, and usually calmer for paddling and exploring. The location is just a short drive to great hiking (Gulf Hagas, Big Moose Mountain, Borestone Mountain, Little Wilson Falls, etc) as well as too many ponds to count for moose viewing. We've always been pleased with out stay at Moosehead Hills Cabins and I hope we can come back for another visit!

The Wells Family, over for a road trip from the UK, had the most fantastic week staying at Moosehead Hills Cabins. A very special time creating some gorgeous memories. We loved the immediate surroundings, and also the wider lake region - so much to plan and do - good weather and bad. Thank you to Sally for all the advice with what to plan.
