The views, the moose seen walking along the road on the way into the camp, the loons, the ducks, the quietness, the boat docks, the well graded and maintained 6.5 mile road in, great cellular reception. the helpfulness of the owners as well as their being true Mainers. The negatives are you do not get to be loud at night,...

I had visited actually back in 1991 or whenever it was, not the date shown. It is a 6 mile drive on a dirt road just to get to the place, and at one part of it, you go over a bridge that looks pretty rickety, and it looks like it might have problems supporting a larger RV, although it...

Very nice place. People who say the owner is mean are wrong, they just don't understand his way of humor. The place has 6 hours of power a day. All ways have water due to a water tower. Gas frige in lodge and gas hot water. Nice place.

Our family absolutely loved this campground! It was so beautiful and peaceful. Casey and Sarah, the owners, were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. There were docks for easy kayak launching, and a really nice pebble beach for swimming. Lots of room for our daughter to play and ride her bike. No loud parties to disturb the serene atmosphere. The grounds...

Cons: - I camped with my 2 teens & myself. They charged me for 3 adults @ 38.00 when a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids under 12) was $30.00. Are my teens not part of my family? We slept in one camper. - If I had wanted power for an additional $10.00 a night it is only...

My husband and I came here for the first time with my husband's family. Mostly adults but we did have children. Something for everyone to do and the facilities, bathhouses, and grounds are spotless!!! We found Casey and Sara to be very accommodating and they really take pride in maintaining their camp. Wonderful views and great privacy. Great areas to...

We had been going to Casey's for almost 20 years. Then, one year, Sarah (Casey's wife) accused us of leaving our cabin a mess. We typically spent about 1 hour going through the entire cabin, picking everything/anything up and sweeping and trying to leave it better than we found it. But, the final year we were checking out and she...

To have a clean. Private campsite right on Moosehead Lake was just what we were looking for! If you want amenities like pools, arcades and kids activities, do not come here! It is a beautiful. Rustic campground. Power by generator for just a few hours each day. Awesome... Off the grid, and listen to the lions lull you to sleep....

What a jewel!!! We are so glad we discovered Caseys at Spencer bay campground. This is exactly what we are looking for when we head out to enjoy nature, solitude and the beauty of Moosehead Lake. Site was lakeside--- large and great views of the lake and mountains. Electric runs by generator am and pm and that is more than...

We camped steps away from the lake! Absolutely beautiful! Pay for showers, have to put 4 quarters in & that was plenty for my shower. Showers only available from 7-10 am & 7-10 pm. Lights only on in shower/bath house from 7-10 pm, so if you go after 10 pm, take a flashlight! Campground seemed well maintained & quiet. Short...
